My mother played this multiple times a week after she put her kids to bed -- all six of us. She never played in front of anyone but her family -- and she played it with just as much expertise and passion. We were so fortunate.
@@okapmeinkap7311 I am not sure what you are asking. I was named after a friend of my mother's, the 1948 Harvest Queen of Parma, New York (a very small town). I believe the name "Lorilyn" is now very popular in the Philippines, but I have no idea how that happened. In case you speak German, here is what I wrote above translated: Ich bin mir nicht sicher, was Sie fragen.
This was the very first non-classical song I ever learned on the paino - I won't tell you how long ago it was but I'm 72 hears old now, and I still play it every chance I get. I've played improvisations on the Henry Mancini rifts and chord progressions throughout the years and whenever I played in public, I would add this to the program in some fashion or another. Listening to this young and very talented man play my favorite song of all time, brought tears to my eyes and I couldn't stop throughout this whole permormnce. BRAVO, BRAVISSIMA. And my very best wishes to you Mr. Parrino for a long and happy career!
I worked for Andy Williams at his Moon River Theatre in Branson Mo from 1994 through 1998. I heard him sing this song live twice a day almost every day. I never tired of it.
Wow. That is genuinely impressive. It is for me the singular most beautiful piece of popular music ever. And today we get rap crap! What happened to our world.
Brought tears to my eyes... My Elderly Mother LOVED this song. always asked me to play it. I miss her so much.... So BEAUTIFUL ! can almost smell her Shalimar parfume in the room.
I'm from Tokyo, Japan. I'm a beginner at piano. I've only been learning piano for a year. Thank you for letting me hear your beautiful Munriba. I'll do my best at piano.
I've never heard a magical piece as soulful as this. It somehow seemed to echo my innermost thoughts and feelings. I kept on replaying your video, can't get enough of this.
what makes this song so memorable is it's simple sentimental melody....it's not too epic or complex. It packs an emotional punch without slamming you in the face.
I love this song. My parents loved it too and they also loved piano music and do I, now that I am an adult. I could sit and listen to you play the piano all day.
You are amazing I've been playing the piano for 9 years now and I have never seen anyone play the piano like you do You are a miracle I love you so much
Just a quick note to tell you that you are my inspiration. I started learning piano because of your talent. I can’t stop listening to your pieces. You are màgic and your talent touches my heart. Thank you Francesco for sharing your music. I hope one day to have the opportunity to enjoy a live concert of you.
I live in NY City around the corner from 5th Ave. and tiffanys where the opening scene of this movie was filmed. It has always been such an enchanting place to go and to stand there, retracing the steps of Audrey Hepburn walking up to the window. Your song means so much to me Francesco and i will be sure to play it next time i walk over there.
I am proud to live in the same time with you. I am sure that someday there will be the name of the streets and music schools in your honor, and our children will watch movies and cartoons, where the music will be written by Francesco Parrino❤️
One of my former bosses was a classmate of Henry Mancini's at Aliquippa High School and played in the band with him. I always liked his music, especially this song.
I always associate this song with that dramatic final love scene in the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's" with Audrey Hepburn, George Peppard and "cat". So emotional!
Simply beautiful. I remember the very first time I heard this piece. I was sitting in the Century Theatre near Union Square in San Francisco on opening night. What a thrill and so many beautiful people were there. This rendition was so reminiscent of a beautiful evening a very long time ago with a very lovely lady.
When my notification says your name with a new video/score....i alws become sooooooo happy.... but i dont hear it immediately, i wait till i am free and then put my headphone and then its music (piano) time..
Thank you thank you and thank you Francesco this will be always one of my favourites song. This cover has been just beautiful as the same Audrey. Thank you
It is truly a gift, when music is portrayed with such passion and sincerity, that you have tears in your eyes. To touch your soul with harmonic beauty, is another level of interpretation channeled and infused with pure emotion, that it takes your breath away. Bravo maestro.
Todas tus interpretaciones son maravillosas! Eres un pianista extraordinario! Gracias por la fascinante experiencia que es escucharte! Un abrazo desde Tucumán (una ciudad de Argentina)
Your ability to communicate through music truly amazes. Words are not enough to describe the clarity of emotions, the precision and your seemingly effortless technique. And yet, we can only use the words to say: THANK YOU!
Beautiful! I have loved this song from since I was a kid. I knew a family that had an old player piano with the scroll for this song and I used to play it over and over.
Wow~~~~~~~~ a beautiful piano. Pretty~ I didn't arrange too much, The melody is beautiful. Beautiful。
When you first started playing I thought "hey I can do this," but as you progressed I began to realize, "yeah, it's a bit much for me right now." A simpler arrangement would be up my alley!😂
Best pianist at young age. Love all your music and arrangement,. you are super star. If Beethoven, Mozart and Liberace are alive, they will bow their heads to you for being a young, brilliant pianist of all times. More power to you Francesco from USA. I am a pianist myself.
Moon river, wider than a mile I'm crossing you in style some day Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker Wherever you're goin', I'm goin' your way Two drifters, off to see the world There's such a lot of world to see We're after the same rainbow's end Waitin' 'round the bend My huckleberry friend Moon river and me
Very nice indeed. What some might not realise is that it takes a great deal of skill and control to keep the melody accented on top of the arpeggiated notes that the right hand also plays along with it. This arrangement is amazing.

Never seen a name Lorilyn. Mutter, Vater, or both?
You are blessed!

I'm sure you do it to perfection.
I worked for Andy Williams at his Moon River Theatre in Branson Mo from 1994 through 1998. I heard him sing this song live twice a day almost every day. I never tired of it.
You was lucky to be able to hear and watch him play.
Was this before or after you moved to Gotham and found yourself knee deep in cahoots with a billionaire vigilante?
Wow. That is genuinely impressive. It is for me the singular most beautiful piece of popular music ever. And today we get rap crap! What happened to our world.
I'm 62....yep...this is my favorite theme song...over and over again....never get tired
One of the nicest pieces of music ever composed.
