The fact that everyone knew Friday is proof that IU truly is a well loved artist in Korea.
I'm always surprised that IU doesn't speak more English in her concerts abroad. Her pronunciation in the first song is perfect and I LOVE to hear her speak English. But she still uses an interpreter during concerts Philippines for example) and seems reluctant to speak more, even five years later. I'm sure she could do it. Don't be shy IU, your English sounds awesome!

i love how instead of singing 'are you free this friday?" she spoke it...and the audience just squeels in giddyness...i also love it when she laughed and broke out of character as she semi-danced with yu huiyeol..
the atmosphere during 'Friday'..feels like the best place to be with your girlfriend or boyfriend with IU's sweet melodic voice singing to you. ah...my heart.

Lol. So cute! YHY is such an obvious uncle fan of IU! I just love their relationship! Like how IU promised to come to his show first if she had a comeback or how YHY even acting as one, super hot uncle in her MV. xD While PDs picked some idols, YHY picked IU as the most memorable guest on his show, and he still viewed her as that even when years had passed since she became the guest for the first time. :)

I know I’m late in posting this , but I’m now totally converted and I’m a massive fan of Korean Music and Drama series’s , IU is not only a wonderful actress but she is an amazing singer , loved her ballads singing in Korean , my favourite is ( Story of an old couple ) but she is so versatile , it doesn’t get any better , no backing only her with the guitar , beautiful song , in English and her outstanding vocals .
I can see why all her Asian fans adore her , this is one fan from Scotland that could listen to her sing all day 💜 .
I’m also looking forward to her next drama series, Hotel del Luna was amazing , cinematography was outstanding , story line was excellent and unique and IU was as usual beautiful and stunning in the drama . 🌟

Yoh James- I had the same experiences; just got into watching kdramas, kpop since pandemic last June, so glad I discovered IU through Hyori’s Bed and Breakfast Season One, didn’t know who IU was. She is pretty special person, performer and human being; doesn’t let her popularity and fame spoil her...new fan, watching her stuff every day...stay safe and strong...💪🙏😀...from 🇺🇸 USA.

I first saw her in My Mister and I've been a big fan since then. I have most of her songs in my iPod and have bought Love Poem and Palette albums and Love Poem 2019 Tour Concert DVD. She is the BEST and one of a kind! Thank God that He created her!!!
