you're so good at what you do man, very underrated
😭❤️ this honestly means so much to me, thank you
From the GOAT himself!
@@JoshIsnt That's a very well-deserved compliment from the GOAT. Warmed my heart.
from swamp man himself
He has 25,000 subs. Not exactly underrated.
congrats on escaping Yanille and making it to Chicago
The natural progression
Fuck go back

One of the interesting things about this series was starting with a group of chunks that were thematically linked, when it comes to rolling it would be nice if it was possible to batch chunks together if it would fit.
For example, castle wars lobby + minigame chunk would fit. But i understand if thats not good you envision your accounts progression.
I considered it, but I think it would be hard to have a consistent guideline about what chunks are thematically linked. I like have the concrete restriction better so that everybody knows what can and can’t happen
That's fair. Honestly, i feel like it would just be vibes based which clashes with consistency. Can't wait for the next episode!
Been watching this whole series, and it really is quite a gem. Your theme music slaps, you provide great history, and turn something that may seem boring on the surface into a fantastic journey. Keep slaying in 2024, King of Yanille.
The 36 failed pick lock attempts killed me 😂
This is hands down the best osrs series I’ve watched. Swampletics, Limpwurt, and others each have their respective best qualities but you manage to combine the narrative, niche content, and presentation/production value in a way that surpasses them cumulatively. You’ve got something really special here man, can’t wait to see where it goes next.
But what about J1mmy?
i dont usually bother with suggestions, but if youre looking for a series of similar quality, might i suggest flippingoldschool's trader steve series? one thing i feel with a lot of osrs series is that their endgames or sometimes even midpoints start meshing together or just arent as impactful as the beginning (how i felt watching the end of tileman and current xtreme onechunk), but the unique goal of trader steve, unlocking chunks by buying 1m+ items off the GE, really gives it a fresh feel throughout. that compared with great editing sets it apart. if i had to say, my three favorite series rn are josh's, by release (sote went hard btw), and trader steve.
as a new player that startet a year ago. its so awesome to see everything a chunk has to offer and where it began. i cant express in words how happy seeing someone clawing there way up and coming out on top. what great dedication ^^
Maybe you mention it somewhere and I missed it, but when talking about using the tower portals you said you would need a way to return, and that the castle wars teleport would be your way back. However you can already use the Nightmare Zone minigame teleport to return to your current chunks.
I think you actually need to do NMZ at least once before accessing the teleport. Which he has no access to.
Love your content! Feels kinda sad to see you leave Yanille after you've taken us through such a great journey already. Your storytelling is fantastic and can't wait to see you explore more chunks!
Can't he go back if he wants to? 🤔
Great vid! My theory for the path behind the bank is that it's for the staff to go to work, which doesn't quite work since they're sealed inside. I guess we're supposed to imagine a door in the wall. The bulb at the end is where they'd congregate to take breaks.
This video popped on my home today and here I am like 6 hours later, just finished watching the whole series to be prepared for what's coming next. You not only keeped me company today while I was working from the other screen, but made my whole day and week. Honestly man, there are no words. The passion and love you are putting into this is amazing, and trust me when I tell you we can feel it through the screen. It's beautiful. I'm so ready for more! Keep up the great work!
It is amazing how much quicker exp rates are these days compared to older methods. I actually started an unrestricted HCIM after several years away from the game around the same time you started your chunk account. It is now only a few dozen levels from maxing. People always compare OSRS exp rates to RS3, but there is an even bigger gap between Classic exp rates and OSRS.
A masterclass in presenting musical themes to aid narration and frame the scene. Excellent work my man. I'll be keeping an eye out for what's next, although I'm sure I'll get spoiled in the chunk clan.
Congrats anyways and glgl!
Congrats on finally getting out of Yanille! It's been amazing following you on this adventure!
My favorite chunkman series. You've got such a huge talent for making videos so hopefully this series gets even better in the future. 🎉
It was an INSANE gambit doing something THIS hard with a still getting-out-of-UA-cam’s-oblivion channel, but it seems to have paid off! You have my respect, congratulations, and my good-luck-wishes for this channel’s future!
Not sure if you're aware but you can collect a TON of runes from maze events by just stalling the timer on an open chest and only progressing it once the chest has reset.
He has done that. Looks like you gotta go watch the beginning of the series.
Josh did that but it eats up at least an hour of time by opening up the chest. For his account, it seemed like a misuse of time management.
@@Kruegernator123 you also can't get mind runes or chaos runes in those chests, which seemed to be the limiting factor for training
Woohoo! Your series has captivated me due to the fantastic storytelling. Looking forward to this episode when I have time to watch.
Really impressive how you have so many little elements in your vids that are unique. Like telling lore about the chunk and tracking how much xp you got from obscure things. The way you edit makes it easy for me as a viewer to imagine what the grind was like and just the result of the grind.
Gz on finally making it out of Yanille! I'm glad so much of the content around these chunks is also so old and forgotten, because learning all your fun facts about this strange little forgotten corner of Gielinor is definitely my favorite part of this series. Can't wait to see where you end up next man!
Yoooooooooo I'm so pumped to watch this video!
Thanks for making all this content, Josh. We all appreciate you!
Big congrats! Been a blast following this so far. Can't wait to see what this magical journey brings next!
Watched the whole series and can't wait for the adventures that the next episode brings!
Just finished binging the series and what a ride. You're a crazy good video and music maker. Can't wait to see where the rest of the series goes!
Love your channel, it's become one of my favorites. Such a comfy vibe and I love all the info and facts you put in the videos. Congrats on escaping Yanille. I can't wait to see where the journey goes from here!
The music you write and use for the episodes really helps make these grinds enjoyable to watch!
I really enjoyed the symbolism at the end of the video with the high alching and telegrabbing near the magic guild. Paying homage to each grind you had to do over all the time you've spent training magic.
This is what I've been waiting for. Most underrated OSRS series and youtuber. Keep at it Josh!
You could use those jangarberries to make supercompost if that ever becomes a thing you need before getting access to a charter ship
Good idea!
I dont play osrs... or rs anymore at all, BUT I have been waiting for this update ever since i found you and your series, man. Keep it up!
Phenomenal series. This fell off my algo for some reason but I searched it and binged it the last 2 days. Supreme editing/graphics/facts.
This is my first time discovering you because I took a break from rs for a while. Super informative bro, great video quality
Godspeed🙏
A perfect mix of JOOV and settled, but with plenty of unique spin that makes it its own category. Really awesome stuff my dude 😎
So cool to have binged this while this was the most recent release. I was recommended your full series singular video then switched to the separate ones at like e4
Seeing "canifis chunk" in the chat bar was always fun.
I'm a Fray fan as he's in the Rev Cave chunk... And I'm currently trying to greenlog the wildy.
Hell yeah gz man! I always find myself coming for the music and staying for the content :D
Made a handful of new tunes for this special episode!
The intro is so good on this one
Binged watched the entire series between yesterday and today was a blast my dude.
This is probably the best edited one chunk man. Great production.
Just wanna say I've considered doing an OSRS challenge run series myself and your videos are slowly pushing me to maybe try it. Keep up the amazing work my guy!
You’re really well in speaking. Very enjoyable to watch and listen
The long awaited video! This series has been amazing Josh! Loved every bit of it! Thank you so much for your time and effort for our enjoyment! I'm really hoping you find joy in the next big grind and continue with the account.
Definitely my favorite snowflake out there right now! Congrats on escaping the City(?) of Yanille :D
Let's Go! Been waiting for Josh content! Love your stuff! Nice to see the progress
This is absolutely my favorite Runescape series, I'm so glad you're back!
I think the path behind the bank in yanille had something to do with the random event where you got to jail and players can throw tomatoes at you, now it is only in Varrock but I think it used to be there in Yanille as well
I'd really appreciate it if you could allude to which episode in the series each video is. Either in the title, thumbnail or description. I know you've done it for most of them but seemingly not for the last couple. Thanks xxx
What an amazing series so far! So glad you’ve stuck with it.
I was just saying to a friend last week I hadn't seen an episode of this in a while. Thanks for blessing the feed 🙏
I remeber i saw you in yanille, we had a little talk and i found your first episode, which was already insanely good quality. Now your vids are even better! Thank you for the vids!
💖
my guy has more playtime in yanille then i do in the entire game. Nice job bro. good vid
He's doing it... the absolute madman is finishing his chunk grind 😮
Gratz on the freedom! I think that armour you found is how the old goblin mail looked (tho with a red dye?) love seein all these niche items/facts about areas it really brings me back to the exploration days as a kid tryin to figure out every last thing you could about this game!
“I refuse to let any resources go to waste”
Me: Bro, 4 prayer exp per bone 😭
Jk man haha nice vid.
I was doing the bones for a while but I got so sick of it looool
If there is a pattern to the Skavid Caves you could inclue the accessible exits to the chunk picker, similar to the portals chunk jumping you.
Yeah I need to look into this more, I’m not sure if I’m able to use the scavid caves to access any chunks that I couldn’t just walk to, but I need to do some research before confirming that
Really enjoyed this grind. Thanks for spending the time doing it. I’ve done some area locked things and I know how hard it is. 😅
You’re a great narrator! Your voice is perfect for these style of videos
Congrats on getting it done! absolutely love the video, very excited to see what lies ahead.
Really like the math/stats you’ve been including in all these videos!
A minor point, but you can't really save up shooting star discovery bonuses. It will persist for the next star you do mine (even if it's not the one you discover), but you can only ever have a maximum of 300 bonus star dust. Though when you eventually roll the observatory, you can check a notice board to see how many you've discovered. I just checked the other day and have discovered 30 stars on my main (though that's because I've actively scouted for them, mostly in f2p).
Ah damn, the dream is dead
at 29:30 is how you know you've spent too much time in Yanille, great vid mate
I'm so excited for these chunk rolls. These Kandarin facts scratch such a good brain itch.
Your production value of the videos are insane. Especially with the custom songs, crazy.
So....I have another city that's old/weird and has shenanigans about it for you to explore in the future.
Hemenster. It ALSO has a diagonal house, A weird thieving chest. Odd placements and more. It's absolutely a place people walk past and completely ignore except for the Fishing contest.
Don’t tempt me to make my theorycrafted Hemenster onechunk a reality
Was looking for a good OSRS series to binge and then this popped up on the home page. I love it! Went back and watched all the other episodes. Love your editing style, the Yanille math and facts, and narrating man. Will def be watching the Lumbridge one next
PS - the mullet gives me serious Forrest Frank vibes lol
That spam failed to pick lock (36) and the sigh when you finally got in.... i felt that.
So excited for the next chapter of this journey! Great video and even better series! Can’t wait for the next video
Your voice presentation is excellent. Articulate, good volume, and solid delivery.
Yeeeees! I've been waiting for this series to continue. Guess im staying awake for another 50 minutes, keep up the great work
Subbed bro. You have the production value of a veteran creator and I am absolutely shocked you don’t have more subs than you do
I can't believe you've made it out of Yanille after all of this time. I'm so excited to see where luck brings you next.
In one of the previous episodes you got noted mithril and coal. You could always do a little more smithing and make your own steel scimitar or armor.
Not as much of an improvement as mithril but still
This was amazing!! I’m so happy you finished yanille and ready for the next chunk to roll!!
Absolutely loved this series! You’re killing it dude! Looking forward to more
Awesome job my dude. One of the highest effort series on the platform right now, you're killing it.
I think what makes your videos is the music choice. The editing is phenomenal, but music is such an underrated element in anything in life. Bad music choice can really ruin any top tier video, so thanks for the great combination!!
God damn man, you are something else! Thoroughly enjoying this series!
Saw your pm btw! Sorry I was streaming at the time, but I shouted your videos out on stream 🐸
Thank you, that really means a lot! Seriously good luck on the next chunks!
Such a phenomenal episode and I couldn't be more excited to see where this series goes!!
The music really adds to the videos, huge props for the cool music youve made
Looking at it. The unusual armour is the original model for goblin mail back in the day. And those jangerberries can be made in to super compost.
Grats on escaping yanille
I thought it looked familiar, goblin mail came to mind but since it got changed I couldn’t place it
congrats, looking forward to what comes next! the original music you've made for this is something special 🎵
been an avid fan since i discovered you. You're an absolute joy to watch!
It's been 3 weeks since you replied to comment saying this episode is on the way. I'm happy to see it :)
The dedication is enough for me to be completely addicted. Well done man!
Huge vid man. Great edits. Quality content. Ready for the next big step in the series!
Yooo just rewatched this series up to this point today, what a clutch upload !!!!
It's a good day when you upload Josh. Can't wait to watch this.
Neat! You should consider uploading this series to UA-cam!
This series has been top-tier! Congrats on a grind well done.
Fantastic episode! Can't wait to see what chunk you roll next!
Feel like could have picked up some bones along the way but big congratulations on completing yanille chunk
Thank you for sharing your journey, I'm happy to see where it goes from here :)
I love your stuff so much, thanks for chatting in game too
Hype!! Super stoked for the rest of the series now that the world is opening.
Josh, you probably won't see this but man I get so excited whenever you upload a video, easily my favourite content creator rn
What a journey in those two chunks, can't wait for the next chapter
Absolutely love it. Keep it coming!!!!!!!
End of an era! Let's see what the future holds!
20:25 loved seeing canafischunk make an appearance complaining about his rng hahaha
