I’ve been waiting on someone to do these comparisons and I’m glad it’s you. I’ve been saying they’re completely different from color pop Can you compare the pastels to her Retrograde palette because those seem wet similar as well.
I would love to see tutorials using these 3 palettes.
I love the idea of Huda’s pastels more than I actually like the swatches 😭 And I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but I don’t care for the yellow in the Rose palette 🙈 In fact, I wish it were more rose-colored 🤷🏼♀️
I was shocked when people were talking down on Huda copying colourpop's monochromatic collection. They are completely different, where colourpop is more monochromatic and Huda's pastels are more wearable
I don't care if people are comparing these to colourpop. Honestly Huda has been doing 9 pans longer than colourpop and a pastel palette isn't anything new either. I really appreciate the eyeshadow palettes Huda releases. She's always doing something different with her formulas and I really appreciate the effort that goes into them. I know people love to hate on her which is fine, people are entitled to their opinions, but im really tired of seeing comments of people saying "okay but colourpop---" aka the trend mood comment section when she posted a pic of this launch... 😪
I kinda really want the mint one. But that lilac one is beautiful!! I would love to see looks for each palette.
I’m interested in the lilac one but would like to see it compared to the purple shades in the New Obsessions Light and Mercury Retrograde. Also, I love to see an eye looks vid for these palettes
The Mercury Retrograde has a lot of the same feel. I compared the two when showing my husband my recent loot. Lol. We decided that the lilac could pass for a travel friendly Retrograde.. but there are some different hues/tones. And the Light Nude has a few that could dupe the nude colors in both mentioned, it just has a peachy duo chrome. The purple metallic is about the same as the others. Thank you SO much for doing this! I was leaning toward getting the green one, but now that I've seen the comparison I prefer the Colour Pop palette. Now I'm considering the rose palette. It's different from anything I have.
I would love to see some looks for these palettes! I generally really like your looks because I think it's much more close to something I would actually wear outside!

I just got the Rose one and will be purchasing the other two if I come to like the Rose so I can have the full set. Thank you for doing the comparison to CP. I have the Mint to Be palette and have been saying all along that they looked nothing alike to me. I had planned on purchasing anyway. They all are however Georgeous! ❤

I thought I wanted the rose one but it's not pink enough for me. I hope colourpop will do a pastel pink palette. I may pick up the lilac though. I like the softer shades.
Your photos are phenomenal. I think CP is prettier. The Huda nude light is the only one to ever make me pause.
I have all 3 and LOVE them. The Mint one is my favorite. The shimmers are so stunning on the eyes and they layer beautifully over the mattes if you want to deepen the color. Love love love!

I’m really loving the idea of the Huda palettes. I’m not a bright color girl at all and the softer, not as pigmented colors seem very approachable to me, especially when you throw in the neutrals in the palette. The monochromatic colourpop palettes never called to me but these totally do!
I would love tutorials for these palettes. I definitely need the Lilac one.

I think the Huda ones could be good companion colors to go along with the Colourpop ones. I don’t own any of them, but if I did I would definitely use them in conjunction with each other.

The Lilac one looks very similar to the Anastascia Norvina palette to me.
Huda had that one amazing glittery blue shade in Retrograde palette...I want more of those...love that formula

I’m really pleased with my colourpop mint palette, the only one I’m tempted by is the Lilac, I didn’t pick up the colour pop Lilac, it looked too pink, & I think it might be a nice compliment to the retrograde palette which I love!

Thanks for this video! I was eyeing these palettes but after seeing your comparisons, I prefer the Colourpop and have two of the three Colourpop palettes. I don't have the mint, I don't think I'd get much use out of it. It's the only Colourpop monochromatic I haven't picked up
Gosh, I really like all three! I'm not really a big Huda fan but these are intriguing. As far as the jelly formula, is this similar to a Super Shock Shadow formula cuz I know those dry out pretty fast if you don't keep them closed up tight. Wondering what this jelly formula will do over time??? I'd love to see some different looks/tutorials with these three.

I think I'll be picking up the mint palette when it launches at Sephora. It's the only one out of the three that I can't dupe with my own shadows. Also, it'll get me out of my comfort zone. Yes, please do a 3 looks 1 palette for each of them! That would be so cool to see!

My fave is also purples. My preference is cool purples. Always skip pink/purple palettes that are sold as purple palettes. Huda is giving the vibe I prefer with purples. LOL.its very amusing that people were called to participate in another "drama". The Huda Palettes dont fit into my budget and I have plenty of beautiful cool purples. Thanks for sharing! 💚

The shimmer shades look amazing
I don’t understand why people where so aggressive about this 9-pan thing seeing how Huda came up with the original idea! The sun shines for everyone and you can prefer one brand over another but there’s no need to get aggressive about it!

I'm soo glad that I saved money getting the Colourpop pastels instead of these $29 Huda palettes! I watched Angela B r ight do the Colourpop mint on one eye&Huda mint on the other eye and the Colourpop was gorgeous and the Huda was a HOT MESS!
I'm a bit fed up with rosy, warm and pastel pallets. I really like Melt's unhackneyed colors. And I'm really looking forward to seeing kinda burgundy

I just ordered Lilac you a lot, Baby don't Peach and Going Coconuts... Not received yet, they left the States today😁 And I have Mercury Retrograde so I wonder the overlap with the Pastel Obsessions because I'm eyeballing Rose and Lilac. Mint doesn't suit me...

The shimmers in the HUDA jewel pallets were buttery and intense, the neon pallets - not so much. Hopefully they will return to the more intense shimmers.
I tried two of Colourpop’s palettes, one of which was Lilac You A lot. Sadly, the shadows in the palettes made my eyes burn. I was so bummed. So I may pick up one of the Huda palettes so that I can have the pastel shades that I love.
I want to get one since I collect her palettes. I can't decide which one. I'm definitely waiting for them to come to Sephora.

The Huda ones do not have any deepening shades. I like the Colourpop
pastels much better. I already have them and am not tempted by the Huda pallets at all. I am in a NO buy so, 😅 PHEW.
I like to contour my eyes with the varying
depth of shades.
I saw Mel Thompson wearing a combo of the Huda mint and Huda lilac. Don’t know if she posted the tutorial yet but I am going to try the Colourpop Mint in the inner corner and the Lilac you a lot on the lid because it looked bomb.

I actually think this Huda Mint is more similar to Colourpop Sol just looking at the palettes. They both have a lot of bronzy shades in them. Could you compare those 2? :)
