WTF?! Lifestyle is exactly the same now. Not much has changed in twenty years. Maybe it feels different thinking back because we were kids then and childhood is warm and comfy. Everything is what we make of it. Don't let pop culture change you.
@@lapis591 I mean that's an optimistic view but not a realistic one. I don't remember people living on social media back in 97 lol for that fact I don't remember people getting canceled for every slightly different viewpoint that isn't viewed as "politically correct". You honestly cannot sit there and tell me that we've been living the same ol same ol life style that people were back then. Hell people dont even communicate the same anymore.
@@lapis591 it has nothing to with being a kid, the 90s were actually a sunnier time, it was an optimism that no longer excist, you dont get the same type of comfort anymore
from 2:01 - 2:35, the cryptic cut and the fact that he was reporting something on Vallejo, CA is a little odd. i currently live 20 minutes away from Vallejo; but back in 1997, i lived in southern california; about 2 hours north of san diego, the area these commercials came from
"Due to some violent content, parental discretion is advised. " Isn't Clear and Present Danger rated PG-13? I mean, it's not as violent as Patriot Games. But I'm guessing it's because this movie deals with Colombian drug cartels.
The closest thing I’ll ever have to a time machine…..
Ahhh. 1997, where the culture, year and moments in time were as colorful as the pages in a preschool book.
These commercials hurt my heart, to know how much we lost since then. We didn’t do enough to preserve this life style.
We were moving too fast as a society to fully wnjoy this specific Era 😔

Normally we try to avoid ads on the internet, but I can get sucked into these for hours lol
Thanks for sharing these good memories : )
Internet ads are woke and pathetic..
@@marybetheby5184you're pathetic for bringing clichés into a comment section about commercials
Commercials back then made it seem like we were all happy go lucky and excited at the littlest thing. I wish it had actually been like that.
When you don’t remember any of these commercials because you played outside all the time in the 90s. 😅
Was wondering why I didn’t recognize any of these.
I played outside, but where I'm from, I'm not playing outside in February 😂. I remember some of these commercials.
Thank you so much for posting this!!
is it me or do the commercials from the 90s, and the EARLY 2000s just LOOK sunnyer I don't know if that is a word but it will be today.
Things seemed brighter
