My intuition proved right. She has blossomed into one of today6 most talented singers and actresses of the day. Also, she is a popular talk show host into her 2nd season. And let's not forget she has won just about every entertainment award there is.
I think the most special thing about her is her low register and how easy it is for her to switch to the high register and also into her beautiful headvoice

Im not comparing her to whitney, i was just saying to Dooku that she doesnt have much to learn, shes an amazing singer. People assume that because shes singing a whit ey houston song, that shes trying to be better tha her. She had to choose a song someone else did, and she did it really well.
SHE OWES RANDY JACKSON!!!....man if it wasnt for him she would have been sent packing before the competition even started......im sure she would have still eventually made it but it got a little easier from the exposure that American Idol gave her....

It's 2022 but I agree with Simon back then her style was very very very terrible not bcoz she was poor that time but more like... some people have terrible styling choice that make her like someone in depressed mental hospital and never take a bath for 10 years. Her voice was great but today's much improved technically and very stylish
