Hey guys, today I discovered that you can have NPCs work and farm for you! In Soulmask, the NPC mechanic is amazing-you can literally order your NPCs to do everything in your base.
This gave me the idea: why farm even basic resources like wood, branches, and fiber when your NPCs can do it for you? I created a comprehensive guide on how to set up your thralls for these tasks, from basic setups with campfires to advanced production bases. Watch the video till the end to see how it works. 8:03 Build your Bonfire not ONE PIXEL further away from the Copper Mine than the game will allow you to. Build the rest of your base slightly further away. Put a WAYPOINT (Open Map. Mouse inside the Copper Mine, Use R to place the waypoint. Call it "Copper Mine".
Kidnap some New Friends from the tribe guarding the Copper Mine, give them picks, and assign them to Mining (AT) "Copper Mine".
If they say it's too far away, then Deploy them and F2 them to follow you to where you put the marker, then End The Deployment.
They will mine, and then run back to store them in the Storage you designated, then run back to the Waypoint.
Because it's got enemies in it, you probably want to Control one of your good Combat Tribers and ensure that the two guards and the Archers in the Towers STAY dead...

Im pretty sure the "Mine exploration" is for the mines to farm in them. Dunno how it works yet tho
U mean the bench that farmes stone u just put one npc on it and he will farm all ores in 60m around the bench

I dont think thats how the proctuction bases work...... they way you explained it is like a giant chest but the production bases actually take power, like from a windmill, to operate them........ maybe i missed that part of the video???
Hey I'm 100% sure u dont need any power for them to work only 1 npc and u need to give him tools to be able to work if u watch the video fully u will understand

*Minute 1-5* = "Use the SoulMask Interactive Map to locate the Small Tin and Copper Nodes in the west part of the first area, near the shore of the river. Build a camp somewhere around there. Use Outcasts to farm materials manually and spend your time crafting Tin and Copper Ingots, then turn those into Bronze until you're Level 25. Save 6 Learning Points back. Once you hit 25, now spend those points to get the Extraction Yard, Logging Yard, and Harvesting Yard. Here's how you use them in the base you already built to turn them into a money-making machine... (explain that)
*Minute 6+* Now, here's the 1-100 guide step by step all the way through, including how to Control your Tribers.
That will keep your content "Evergreen" because it takes just a few days to learn how to get to 25 fast, and now (11 days later) most people who will have this video recommended to them (Like me...) are already LONG PAST Level 25...and are ONLY clicking because we're looking for how to best use the Yards...

For sure I just started playing the game for few days in full pvp official server so I will post some raid bases as well next to tutorials that's the difference about me compair to other pve content creators no pvp content

For sure it's still early access but have less bugs and glitches than conan + thrall management is insane in this game thralls can do anything for u in this game
Actually I dont see any benefit of having the production base structures. They are expensive and the NPCs collect resources anyway. They don't need Logging yard, collection yard and excavation pit. At first I thought maybe the excavation pit could be of interest, but it is also an unnecessary building. The descriptions says, you need to put it close to metal ores.. how? copper is in a enemy camp, and most of the tin ore also. Some tin ore is free available, but then again, if I have to place a bonfire near, to keep the excavation pit alive.. it is totally useless. Then the NPCs can go farm from the base itself.
Hey I understand but u are wrong there is a location that have iron ore on the ground without anyone guarding it u can farm there with 1 excavation pit free iron even when u sleep and 1 location on volcano for free obsidian what u say now
@@darkcat.gaming I say you didn't tell us where these two locations are...without that, then the OP point of it being easier to put a Bonfire and a few Tribers on the job is still a good point.

You can go into the tribesmen work and assign exactly which resorce you want them to farm if you have them assigned to a production bench.. If you want them to leave stones alone because you have years of stone and your people just keep being overloaded.. Simply disable stone collection. You can find areas with free spawning ores, you won't find success automating farming in an occupied mine.
