The story of that Llama is actually really depressing. He was used and exploited to explore a world totally foreign to him. Torn far away from home and anything he knew.
Only to be left behind on a random island in a different dimension that is void of life. Destined to stare into the void and silence forever, waiting for the original owner, until someone kills him :(

The fact this world is stuck before Aquatic Update makes it a true relic of the past
I remember back when it was stuck before the farming update.
It will update. Any month now. The testing server only one minor version behind.
It'd be crazy if it ever jumped to the latest version

14:27 I bet that piston is from one of the red stone machines they used to remove the water at the end spawn, kinda crazy to imagine if any more of them might still be going on an endless journey through the void
Might some redstone machine travelled so far that when he loaded the chunks they broke and that is why there are pistons on the road?
This server is like a museum, a whole world in ruins and loads of lore/history, with being only able to connect the dots by the ruins you see
It would be cool to have the top comments be links to videos or photos of some of these ruins from UA-camrs/bloggers who happen to post it on some site while building it
I wonder just how much 2B2T history still has yet to be uncovered…

It is fascinating seeing how the farther you go, the more interesting it gets at times. End Cities with mobs still alive, bases that have been bombed, structures still intact despite being around the ruins of other structures destroyed by griefers.
I find it insane how much work people put into this server

the idea of travelling along an endless road through an utterly alien landscape has tickled my imagination for quite a while, and this one really scratched that itch
Sounds like a neat concept for a psychological sci-fi story!
I now need to write a short story about that sort of idea, like a road trip through oblivion encountering strange things along the way

I used to build out here.
My security measures included massive Black Concrete walls.
Players would hit them at speed and start to fall, by the time they understood they’d actually hit something it was too late.
One person was actually on his way to his own base when he was killed by one of my walls, he came back to investigate and found me.
I actually ended up joining him and his friends until I finally stopped playing a few years back.
That's probably a great idea

@@ducksongfans 2b2t started on gmod by Housemaster, he got bored of it later and decided to shut it down. Later he opened it on a Minecraft server and here we are today. This is the most basic version I can give, go search up gmod iceberg part 3 and it'll tell you all the basics if you want to learn more about it.
@@whomstthehecc3028 Haust's first server was a Gmod server. 2b2t, itself, has always been a Minecraft server. Hell, it's in the name "2Builders2Tools".

Hey Fit, have you perhaps considered making exploring highways (or at least the most popular one) annually? I think it would be cool to see stuff change and evolve with each passing year.
I'm pretty sure one of the highways took over a month irl for him, so that would be hard

I wonder how his videos influence players to look again at the things he focuses on. I figure some players decide to expand a highway he explores, rebuild/loot a ruin he sees, or grief any semi-intact structure he comes across.

I've tried a few times. The queues are hours long and I've been disconnected in the middle of them a few times. Honestly I wouldn't bother, find some other server which is less populated but you don't have to stare at the literal void for the whole day
keep making these videos my dude! I don't play minecraft much anymore but I always thought having a persistent world is so cool. I love seeing the weird stuff you find and how you just seem to be so chill in the chaos.

Fit, I love your videos! I’ve been going through a rough patch in life for a few years now and watching you bring me back to the times when I would play Minecraft with my friends as a kid, we would all get together in my room and play multiplayer on a world on our phones through LAN because we didn’t have it on the PC, I remember I would be watching SSunddee videos late at night past my bedtime, and then hiding my phone under my pillow when my parents came to check on me so I don’t get in trouble, your voice is soothing and the stuff you cover never fails to entertain me, I always feel happy watching a FitMC video and I just wanted to thank you for the great content

Doing your part as well Fit, extending the End Highway by that much further. My man, brings a tear to my eye. I have never played 2b2t and most likely will never, but had I seen that highway be extended I would have added some to it as well. One good turn and all that as they say.

I love those highway travel videos fit. I play on a very young, but fast developing anarchy server atm, seeing such rich history gives me hopes to contribute on my server to a certain degree
Loved the video! I have always enjoyed the exploring highways videos and what can be found within. I used one of your first highway videos in my classroom. We were learning about the roman roads and your video helped to tie in the importance to roads and civilizations. With 2b2t there were plenty of ruins and examples that applied to real world. It was a bonus for me when I discovered you too were an educator. Keep up the good work.

This feels like exploring a abandoned highway from 100 years ago with decades of history and abandoned buildings.
I walked that highway a couple of months ago myself. It was fun seeing the structures laid about. My favorite place was a gateway I found surrounded by Enderchests and boats. Which was a cool find, I think it was a spot for that Boat exploit a while back.

It's crazy that every people played on that server basically leaves a stain on the world unlike real life where everything can be reset with one single flood/fire/earthquake etcetera. And it feels creepy when nobody is present at the moment.
