I wish I had the guts to take my necks off and deep clean like this, I just hate adjusting my rod after the strings come off and put back on, I even only change one string at a time, so I never get a good neck cleaning and fret cleaning, glad to see you out the tape behind the bridge!! 💪😎
Bro this is an amazing bass setup!! I wish I knew someone in Miami FL that can set up like this. Great job on the fretwork and I love how you set up the super low action with no fret buzz even at the dusty side of the frets😊. Incredible! How do you know when to adjust the truss rod? I feel like mine could use some love.
@@tomasvlachos The size of the string action I use in the video: G string = 1.45mm D string = 1.65mm A string = 1.75mm- 1.86mm E string = 2mm-2.25mm B string = 2.5mm-2.75mm. Measure at the 19th fret on the neck at the 20th fret. Notes: - the size above can match other types of bass, even lower string action. - Make sure the neck is straight and standart tuned.

@@gintabassguitarcare4023 ah oki in mine i have dead straight neck with slight relief probly around 0.10 or 0.13mm on the 7 fret and i have 1.5mm height at 12 fret on the g and 2.38mm on the b. With no buzz. But i wanna ask u was the trussrod very hard to turn? I have an other fender usa jazz bass and the trussrod is soo damn tight like i have to out force to get it to turn

What size Allen wrench did you use to measure pickup height
I use a 2mm allen wrench on the treble side, 3mm on the bass side.
when measuring the string pressure at the final fret.
