I'm really fascinated by investing in stocks, but I haven’t put in a lot of money yet, despite seeing news of people making millions, because I’m always concerned about the risks involved. What are the best strategies for less risk and more gains?
The truth is, the role of an investment advisor can often be overlooked but should never be underestimated. After facing a significant portfolio loss in 2020 during the COVID pandemic while trying to manage my investments on my own, I decided to reach out to an investment advisor. At that time, I had about $126K left in my portfolio. Now, without having to lift a finger, I'm semi-retired, working only 7.5 hours a week, and I'm just 15% short of my $1 million retirement goal thanks to my subsequent investments.
My CFA is Laurel Ann Watkins, a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market. To be honest, I almost didn't buy the idea of letting someone handle growing my finance, but so glad I did.
I was able to find her website on Google by researching her name. She’s got incredible credentials. Hope she replies to my email soon. Thanks for sharing.
I feel investors should focus on under-the-radar stocks, considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises plummeting stocks that were once revered..... I don't know where to go here out of devastation.
Find quality stocks that have long term potential, and ride with those stocks. I have found it takes someone who is very familiar with the market to make such good picks.
Yes. It is very easy to buy in on trending stocks but the problem is knowing when to sell or hold, which is why a coach is important. I've been in touch with one for about a year now and although I was initially skeptical about it, I will say I've made more progress within a year generating 6figure profit
My strategy combines ETFs for dividends and growth, including JEPI, DIVO, QYLD, SCHD, and JEPQ. Last year, my dividends totaled $102K. but not sure how to mitigate risk thus far for this year.
I agree with you. As an early investor in NVDA, AVGO, ANSS, and LRCX, my financial advisor's advice was incredibly helpful. Over the past 7 years, she has helped me find stocks that did 10x multiple times. With her help, I've grown my portfolio to over a million dollars.
There are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Aileen Gertrude Tippy’ for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look her up.
Thanks for sharing. I curiously searched for her full name and her website popped up immediately. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her.
As an investment enthusiast, I often wonder how top-level investors are able to become millionaires through investing. I have a significant amount of capital to start with, but I'm unsure about the strategies and direction I should take to help me generate substantial profits like some people are this season.
i’m not in a position to offer financial advice, but given the significant amount of capital you're working with, it would be wise to consult a financial advisor who can guide you in developing a strategy tailored to your goals and risk tolerance
Factos!!. After experiencing a major portfolio loss in 2020 amid the COVID pandemic while trying to manage my investments on my own, I reached out to an investment advisor. They helped me turn my $420k into a seven-figure portfolio by providing the guidance and strategy I needed. Having that expertise made a significant difference in my investment journey
Thanks for sharing your experience! I’ve been managing my portfolio myself, but it’s not working out. Do you have any recommendations for a good investment advisor? I could really use some help
Ashley Garner Abbott a highly respected figure in her field. I suggest delving deeper into her credentials, as she possesses extensive experience and serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking guidance in navigating the financial market
thank you so much for the suggestion! I really needed it. I looked her up on Google and explored her website; she has an impressive background in investments. I've sent her an email, and I hope to hear back from her soon!
I'm favoured only God knows how much I praise Him, $230k every 4weeks! I now have a big mansion and can now afford anything and also support God’s work and the church.
Only God knows how much grateful i am. After so much struggles I now own a new house and my family is happy once again everything is finally falling into place!!
I remember giving her my first saved up $20000 and she opened a brokerage account with it for me, it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me.
Biggest lesson i've learnt in 2024 in the stock market is that nobody knows what is going to happen next, so practice some humility and follow a strategy with a long term edge.
Nobody knows anything; You need to create your own process, manage risk, and stick to the plan, through thick or thin, While also continuously learning from mistakes and improving.
I already own shares of NVDA and PLTR. I'll also add TSLA to my portfolio. But I'd like suggestions on long-term opportunities to explore that could make solid additions to my 250k portfolio for stable cashflow.
Adding META and SOUN are smart additions in my opinion. it's all about balancing your risk tolerance with your long-term goals. Partnering with a financial advisor can help streamline your strategy.
Absolutely! Wealth is made in bear markets. We aren’t in a bear market, but nibbling heavy red days has proven to be fruitful for me over 9 years of investing. I am at 2.25 mil. Biggest positions PLTR, TSLA, SCHD, NVDA, and now looking to build up DRGO alongside finding quality value/growth stocks to buy. I got $48k divs last year in taxable divs. Q2 taxable divs this year was $17,388 this year. Don't sell when the market is down. Having a skilled CFA that puts the time in to do in-depth research can be invaluable in strategizing your portfolio.
Hey, I'm trying to find a certified one to boost my investments/portfolio, but it's tough online. Can I get a rec from you, since you know about this stuff?
I'm cautious about giving specific recommendations as everyone's situation varies. Consider independent financial advisors like “Victoria Louisa Saylor” I've worked with her for 9 years and highly recommend her. Check if she meets your criteria.
Correction on ULTA Uncle Paul: Berkshire sold almost all (95%) of ULTA this qtr. They only held it for one qtr. What do you think of EL (ESTEE LAUDER)L, It has same story as BABA and It's a turnaroud play.
I do like and follow your channel, so appreciate the content, but this video is coming out a bit late guys, you say Berkshire Hathaway has bought Ulta Beauty, but last Friday I saw that they have sold 96% of their shares in the company. You also blur out the current market price when doing your analysis, is that because the price has dropped so much since then? If so, then the fair value prices are also different and basically moot at this point.
Been heavy on alibaba an pypl since 78 at BABA and 68 at PYPL. I would love to see an analisys on semiconductor stocks, some look quite undervalued now, Qualcomm, AMD and ASML. Keep up the content!
BABA is very tricky as the back mirror is Bank of China BACHY, They go in tandem. PYPL with PE 20 and can not foresee 20% earning growth. Warren just sold ULTA, PE 14 is very itchy as Walmart and Loblaws steal its market share to offset low margin groceries. The focus should be back to energy as weather is getting cold. Any country starts block chain oz in gold and silver, that will see the full intrinsic value of wealth to be stored in oz permanently, the remaining is music chairs.
Ulta lowered their high estimate for guidance below your low level for assumptions. FY 2024: 22.6-23.5 and they said FY 2025 revenue would be similar to FY 2024. Only in 2026 would net sales increase 4-6%. This is from their investor day and has been out for over a month. Where did these estimates come from?
I agree. I started trading stocks because I can work with an expert who has a good understanding of the marekt. This third quarter I've already made more than 150k in net profit.
I have BABA but I am not going to buy more. I recommend JD. They mostly sell in China and even if there is tariff, noting happens to them. They have a better management than BABA too. I have enough of ULTA too. Buying EL now.
Thanks Paul. Bought PayPal at $72-76 lost faith snd failed to load up on the way down to $56-58. But sitting pretty now. Looking at $100 in 6-12 months.
I think your analysis is really Great and the way you present shows you got really in depth. I never heard about the theory in which free cash flow is Greater than net income, why is it you like this?
Hey Paul thanks for your analysis but I feel that you have touched upon these three stocks earlier. I was wondering if you could analyze the stocks outside your bucket list. I think companies like QCOM & CI are missed from your radar. Would you mind analyzing Qcom sitting at great valuation. Thanks 🙏
Already listened to Tepper and lost 10% on Baba and Bidu, I am not touching China again, especially now as Trump comes in. These China stocks are only good for Mean-Reversion ID trading.
With presumably tariffs I don't understand how any China retailers can do well. Even Amazon should be affected, anyone selling Chinese products in the US. People will just stop buying.
Not necessarily. Trump seeks to lower trade deficit. This means they buy more ag from us like before. It is in no one interest for China to decline. Apple got an exception from the tariffs.

I`m new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the opportunities so far. I believe having $450K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a FA) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good coins to buy and losing all the good opportunities.

The importance of mitigating risks might be why many investors are turning to advisors for guidance.
