As far as i am aware ASML also had problems with China. American and Dutch governments want to forbid certain machines to be sold in China etc which had a big impact on their orderbook. It is more political instead of business.
It is true, but they only have to sell like 10 (enormous & expensive) machines a year to write black numbers. Also, they are the only company in the world who can create machines who can make the most complex chips. Their moat is huge!!!
Pep is like an ETF with all the different products they hold. I think the RFK hype is a little over done. I think he will just want these companies to be more transparent about what's in their products and let the consumer make the decision kind of like how they added the calories to the menu's. I'm long PEP, PFE, KO etc..
It’s a gamble transparency means telling people the truth and when more people realize how bad most of these products are it may turn them off to them. Sort of how disney continues to turn off their customers with higher prices at the park and soulless cash grabs
I’ve been nibbling at several of these recently as multiple are part of my long term holds. Will continue to watch and if they continue to drop will look at slowly adding more. Taking advantage to slowly increase my portfolio yield.
I’m sure my comments on other videos crapping on dividend investing have been noticed but I have to confess that I have started buying SCHD and understand the mentality. While I still disagree with stock picking in general, and think that growth stocks are better for building wealth in general, the steady income and recession resistance that dividend stocks have are very beneficial. The lack of growth and cost of taxes are basically how you pay for the option to receive steady income and choice to reinvest or just take the money. TLDR: I’ve been converted from straight growth, to a mix of growth and income.
Agreed ! Dividend investing through ETFs offer more advantages than through stocks, I have noticed the same conditions and need for recession resistance in my portfolio and leaned heavily into SCHD & JEPQ ,
Target got smoked today and is at that 52 week low. Would be a good one to do, I'm actually thinking of starting a long term position in it now. 22% drop on an industry leader is one to pay attention to
for the next video could you go a little more in depth about which types of investors each stock would benefit ? for example you said pepsi would be good for some investors so in what situation would it be a good investment
ASML is an amazing company with very good valuations compared to industry. This value is extremely low and it'll most likely breakout once it gets some momentum.
Good opportunities to consider and build up positions in KO and PEP. These companies always come under fire when someone like RFK Jr. comes along. These companies have a history of dealing with this scrutiny and will navigate it just fine. Forcing a company to use XYZ ingredients will have massive consequences for the industry as a whole, and I doubt it will get remotely that far. He'll probably get some kinnd of label thrown on them for X years, and that'll be that.
I think Pepsi probably dropped over the last month or so because they've been knocked out of the No. 2 position by Dr. Pepper. They've been in second place for literally a century so this was a hard hit to their public face.
Think there’s an RFK/PEP/KO over reaction. They already formulate for the EU market who has way more stringent guidelines than the US. It may affect the bottom line short term, but not for long. Yes not a big grower, but don’t believe the dividend is going anywhere and will continue to have a solid cagr.
Because I live in the Netherlands, I've bought some shares of ASML Holding - like in Oct. '22 for 457,51 around the '22 bottom € (yep, I pay in EUR for its shares b/c I just buy in at the Euronext Amsterdam) and right now I'm also buying its shares every month as long as they'r eso cheap. And for me when it comes to the dividends - they just go higher and higher every single year - I just don't experience EUR/USD fluctuations in this case. 😉
@Dividendology thanks brother! Without the deep dive, TGT looks like a no Brainer right? You dig way deeper than I know how to do, but seems like an easy buy at this price (unless it goes down more, but that only makes it a better deal imo). I'll keep an eye out for the video! Thank you!
Read, learn and start small to gain experience. Personally, I own all except ASML. Recently, I added a small amount of ADM, added HRL and added to my PFE holding. Can’t win by following the crowd. Have to think for yourself and not be afraid to go against the crowd. Personally, as with anything in life, quality at a bargain cost is what I look for and with stocks, also dividends.
ETFs: VOO, SPY, SCHG, SCHD would be a "turn off your brain buy" and it will grow in the long run. For single stock: Google!!! As they are in a dip right now since they are being sued to DOJ. Your bet is whether DOJ will be able to break up Goog or not.
All this talk about RFK is ridiculous. You have Trump saying right and left how much good he did with the pandemic but people are afraid RFK to do exactly what? Do people really think that while Trump is presenting his first term as a good response to the pandemic he will also allow RFK going around and spreading his nonsense about alternative therapies? RFK will be the first to be kicked from this administration or he will slowly start revising all the nonsense he talks about.

ASML such a good opportunity!

Dividend Data did a really good video on TGT. May want to watch that first.
My advice is to never invest in retail.
Yes
I bought 50 on that day.
51 yrs of increase div
A king
I thought it was a compelling buy.
Looking to buy more

with PEP, it's probably the cooler weather, PEP and KO always go up in summertime. ADM, same thing, it's a farm stock, goes up in spring,
for the next video could you go a little more in depth about which types of investors each stock would benefit ? for example you said pepsi would be good for some investors so in what situation would it be a good investment
Nice idea! I'll look into making a video like this at some point.

Are you adding $LVMHF currently? To me they look weirdly cheap🤷
Being near retirement stocks like coke and pepsi with a steady dividend and a fairly stable stock price does help.

Coke uses cane sugar internationally
Yep, and it is delicious! It's a relatively easy formula switch if that's the direction the RFK stuff goes.
@ Coca Cola in Latin America is tastier and a lot more refreshing.
They don't. They switched to corn syrup in Mexico after the 2013 sugar tax.
@@RitzCracked Never said Mexico. I said Latin America.

Did he even tell anything about that?
That was the reason for me to sell
Hey Guys, thanks for the vid! Best 5 dividend stocks to buy today and hold forever? :>
Great stuff thanks!
what about LVMH? Thank you for the great content :)
hoping to make a video soon!
Yes, please!
Marine shipping interest me.
Do you have a view on LVMH please
Yes, hoping to make a video soon
I’m buying all the Pfizer I can at these prices. It is showing signs of severe undervaluation, and they are growing faster than Pepsi.

How about LVMUY and TGT??
Hoping to make videos soon!

Pfizer
I would dollar cost averaging into an msci world etf or sp500 etf. Keep it simple by buying monthly.
VTI dollar cost average
Celanese?

So you can get 3 to 4% interest? Nah, I will stick to my stocks that I get 9% at a minimum. Only my tax free ones are that low.
