This show is GOATED
SpongeBob if he lifted in heck.
This is Red Guy and Patrick's baby?! 3:24
@@ultimatebrawlers64this is SpongeBob!
SpongeBob!!!!!
This is more SpongeBob then coconut fred.
WAIT... Remember Cleopatra in Space?
Jimmy Two-Shoes is what happens when you mix Hazbin Hotel and Yin,Yang,Yo into a nice combination.
Ironically, as much as I love the Hellaverse, Jimmy Two-Shoes does a better job at invoking a chaotic hellish town than Helluva Boss.
@@pawnhearts8785 yeah Jimmy Two-Shoes's take on hell felt more consistent while Helluva Boss feels like it doesn’t really contribute much to the hell setting.
@@friendshipforever5797 In Helluva Boss, hell is more of a backdrop/aesthetic. While in Jimmy Two-Shoes, the town (basically hell) is a character/personality in and of itself. Just like the bar in Cheers.
Yin, Yang, Yo, what a throwback. I suppose this entire channel is meant to be a throwback, with each throwback after throwback after throwback...
@@pawnhearts8785 Most things do better than Helluva Boss
Fun fact:
The character of Mike from Total Drama Revenge of the Island, originally looked very similar to Jimmy Two-Shoes. Since Fresh TV made both shows.
They also share a VA.
I don’t think it aired on fresh tv. But it did air on teletoon in canada
Jimmy Two-Shoes is one of those shows that even though it's pretty good(mostly Season 1). I feel like it would have been better if it was for a Young Teen/Tween audience like the original TV-PG-V rated pitch(it was going to in the same target audience as Teletoon's other Tween/Teen shows such as 6Teen, Total Drama and Fred's Head.) and to a less extent would of been better on a different children's network such as Cartoon Network (more specifically the late 2000s Cartoon Network since were airing a lot of teletoon shows and they were airing TV-PG shows like the original Total Drama and 6Teen around the same time).
Funny you said that because in my country it was aired by Cartoon Network.
@@DJL396Is your country named the "Philippines"? Because I was going to say what you have just said, I mean if it isn't, it also aired in my country or Cartoon Network in the Philippines aired Jimmy Two shoes.
its a teletoon original not disney xd just like total drama and 6teen
Tbh even tho the adult oriented version of the show was quite interesting,I still think the show on its merits was a really good show overall
honestly the show's lost pilot is probably the most infamous piece of media that came out of teletoon(even compared to the other teletoon shows that cause controversies in the network history like Clone High's Gandhi, Johnny Test's whipcrack or Total Dramarama's Smelliot the fart fairy , 1:the later 3 were at least from the actual shows respectively, and 2:Jimmy's pilot had a more darker tone than the other three(with the whole hell setting and having darker sense of violence)
I loved this show growing up! And Teletoon was really lax in Canada, which makes me thankful I grew up when I did. Got to see really good shows out of it. I remember watching these everyday for a whole summer.
I'm guessing it's more censored now
Oh, there was a commercial where the announcer literally describes misery ville as "a living hell"
Same
Older Teletoon had some great moments.
I remember Jimmy Two-Shoes, about Jimmy just going along with his two friends and on the other side, Lucy trying to make Jimmy "miserable"
If I remember two things:
1 - This felt like human SpongeBob but original.
2 - I used to ship Jimmy and Heloise so bad and wanted them to kiss for once.
You and I were in the same boat! 😅
There basically SpongeBob and Squidward.
Jimmy is basically Spongebob
Heloise is basically Sandy if she were working for Plankton
Beezy is basically Patrick
Lucius is basically Plankton/Squidward
Samy is basically Karen if Plankton only saw her as just a computer
and Cerbee is Gary but a dog
I remember watching a marathon of episodes and when I went to sleep, I had a weird nightmare about the show.
It was then I realized watching alot of one thing can be bad for you.
I completely forgot about this show until I saw the art. I remember it to be very fun and weird, and I watched it on Teletoon so I guess I saw the less edited version
About time you covered my actual favorite show that nobody on Earth remembers airing. Certain animated shows about being in Hell could learn a thing or two about Jimmy Two-Shoes
Turns out that one little bundle of happiness can change a whole world... and this happened BEFORE Wander Over Yonder.... Thanks Jimmy....
TWO SHOOOOOOOOOESZZZZZZ!
Jimmy walked so Wander could run. Also the voice actor for Beezy also voices Marty from ToonMarty, so now there´s two bundle of joys in Hell, the more the merrier, every time I think of ToonMarty, I think that one episode where Marty befriends his pimple that apparently grew to talk.
@@Flowermationsthat because Wander Over Yonder and Jimmy Two-Shoes were animated by the same studio, Merucy Filmworks
@@emperatrizcampos5013 Oh, that´s cool!
Hazbin Hotel + Wayside + a dash of Clone High(albeit with a lighter and softer tone) = Jimmy Two-Shoes(that's how i describe it in alternative way)
Dont forget a dash of the buzz on maggie and a medium side of yin yang yo
I loved this Show. Sad we never got more. Over here they changed the Name to Jimmy Cool which was kinda strange whenever they made a Joke about his Name. Heloise Scar btw was a leftover from her earlier Design where she was planned to be a Zombie
I remember one bit from this show, jimmy is taking to a group of evil clowns and asks if penguins like meatballs.
Brings me back to the ol Teletoon days. Speaking of, does anyone else remember Detentionaire, Class of Titans and Spliced? Just random shows from Teletoon that pop up in my head every now and then
spliced has alot of potential, i wish there were more eps
That's some crazy lore. I literally to thought there was no explanation behind anything that happened, and the premise was meant to simply be accepted...
Jimmy Two-Shoes and Charlie from Hazbin Hotel would definitely hit it off and become good friends.
I like how the only thing that made Jimmy miserable was the thought of losing the ability to have fun and be happy.
Canada boy here, watched it as a kid, very nostalgic to see this again. It was kinda meh as a show, but I always looked forward to coming home and watching it after school
I wouldn't mind the show getting a more mature reboot done right with a TV-PG/TV-14 rating
ngl Jimmy Two Shoes sounds like a rejected name for a Panty and Stocking character.
Lmao it does
Hey, someone remembers this show!
It was this close to be a show of a kid that was sent to hell
I mean... Miseryville may as well BE Hell. Like its all but in name, along with the fact that its home to demons, both Beezy and Lucius are damn close to the actual names etc
yeah, it was more obvious that it was hell in the original tween/young teen demographic pitch with jimmy being rejected due to an administrative error when St. Peter mistook the footage for him for pickpocketing
@@DirectorOfChaos9292 I think if it was rated pg or mature maybe thy could have gotten away with doing it
@@guillermosierracuellar9812 well the show was going to be in the same target audience as Teletoon's other Teen shows such as 6Teen and Total Drama.
The opening always told me that was hell when I saw the show.
You just unlocked a core memory Id almost forgot about thanks man
I had a bit of prior knowledge of this show years ago, but it wasn't until late 2021 that I finally watched it on Pluto TV. I am not afraid to admit that I really enjoy this show (despite not watching all episodes, and being in the group that thinks Season 2 kinda sucked). I like the show's comedy and tone, and the characters, especially Heloise, are enjoyable and have their moments.
It's a shame how Disney toned down what made the show unique in Season 2 (they still haven't learned from that), and I believe had the show not been restrained during development, more people would've remembered it, instead of brushing it off as another kids cartoon. Another great video, Jordan, especially for another show that lives rent-free in my head.
Merry Fringmas Jordan! Thanks for the mega uploads man I'm loving the nostalgia trip
I used to watch this show a few episodes from Cartoon Network since I was very young.
2:51 NO WAY you timed the ad with the commercial break thing! Dude your editing is TOP NOTCH
SAME
I watched Jimmy two shoes when jetix was still a thing, I personally didn't mind and always thought it had potential.
Bruh I just watched the first episode for nostalgia a couple weeks ago. Glad Im not the only one who remembers it much love
I wrote a whole movie script based on Jimmy Two-Shoes. While the series itself isn't a masterpiece, it has a really interesting premise and I wanted to expand on the lore and flesh out the characters in my own way. This show could have been a lot more, but I feel like it was watered down in favor of being specifically a kids show.
That's some crazy lore. I thought it was one of those situations where the premise is simply the premise, and there's no need to question it...
like in the X's and some others, I always knew you would one day talk about this show and before 2023 ended no less. You have once again impressed me.
never seen this show BUT I AM HERE AS ALWAYS to hear about it .... thanks for your time and effort Jordan
Ah yes, the childhood version of hazbin hotel and helluva boss, how did i easily forget this?
The only thing I remember about this show was an episode where Beezy refused to eat the crust of any pizza he ordered. The scraps all eventually turned into a sentient evil monster that tried to eat Jimmy and the gang, only to be stopped by Beezy, who saved the day by eating said pizza crust monster. This actually made me mad as a child, like I hated people who wasted food, and it was definitely a reason for me to avoid watching it
I thought the show was interesting, I caught a few episodes and was just sitting there wondering what I was even looking at for the first few viewings; that all said, I would love to see the series make a return with a revival or reboot at some point, it would be a serious treat for the more dedicated fans, and would allow for some of the dangling plot threads to get explained or resolved. One of my biggest thoughts about the series was just what would happen if Jimmy had the genuine opportunity to get out of Miseryville and its surrounding area; while Jimmy is a serious juxotoposition of the setting, and his friends seem to follow suit after the series reaches a certain point, which is where the bulk of the comedy seems to stem, he is also incredibly loyal and attached to his friends. I like to think if we did get the opportunity with an "Out of Miseryville" moment in the series, Jimmy would try to bring his friends along, but would find that while he is able to pass beyond the unseen barrier, his friends would actually hit a literal invisible wall, which would cause a crisis of character for Jimmy, on a much grander scale than when he felt he was losing his identity after losing his shoe, that would find him having to make the kind of difficult choice his type of character almost never runs into; leave his friends behind and return to a much less miserable setting but likely feel miserable for who knows how long because he can't share any of it with his friends or return to the setting Miseryville and return to having those fun times with his friends.
My headcannon for Jimmy, and the main reason he ended up in Miseryville, is that despite his personality, he only really had shallow friendships, not for lack of trying but because of his nature drawing in the kinds of people that see his type as tools for their own benefit, and Jimmy didn't really catch on at first, because he's usually willfully ignorant of such things due to his surprisingly high perception and ability to read a room, due to a stubborn belief that all you need for other people to be good is be good to them and around them, but then he eventually breaks form being una ble to continue the facade and somehow ended up in Miseryville after finally reaching his snapping point and basically slipping into misery and depression. But when he woke up in Miseryville, instead of seeing it as a place trying to keep him down, he saw it as a new opportunity to actually form those connections he missed out on and connect with others on a more genuine level. Jimmy likes honesty, so much so that he is willfully ignorant of others doing their best to be dishonest, maybe even going as far as to pretend they aren't even there while actively avoiding them.
Glad you got to go through this series. I really enjoyed it as a child. I did notice the shift in tone in the 2nd season which threw me off, but it was still enjoyable. Heloise was one of my first crushes. She was so cute.
Okay wow, I forgot this existed. The nostalgia floodgates has opened.
Never rewatched the show intentionally, being exclusively an action and world building buff I was more into reruns of soul eater and ben 10.s first 3 series.
Or so you'd think, but...
Kid kid me was on n off with this being my favourite. Sum'n bout h tone and music just drove me in.
I have a couple of series id super d duper love for you to do!! Out of jimmys head, unnatral history and tower prep. Im pretty sure all were on cartoon network and theyre super underrated!!
I loved this show
Yeah i remember this show aaaaand it was fine at least here on latin america it was broadcasted on Nickelodeon.
I was actually thinking about this show recently.
Also really liked the chemistry between the characters.
Thanks for the memories Jordan
I remember that too but its almost lost media everything about jimmy two shoes in nickelodeon latinamerican
I know this is a different video but thank you for getting me into DanVs. It'sa great show and I wouldn't have found it without you :)
FINALLY I HAVE PROOF IM NOT INSANE ANYMORE THANK YOU JORDAN
Dude. This show was creative as all hell
This show would’ve been a lot darker if the original pitch for the show would’ve been accepting
Oh yeah I loved Jimmy Two Shoes! Helloise was my favorite, Saffie yelling YOGURT!
Loved this show as a kid. This was one of the last good shows on Teletoon imo. A few years later the quality of shows on that channel greatly declined.
I still watch this show to this day
Wholesome analysis, this is a show I haven't thought about in a long time.
Thank you so much for all videos you made. You are one of my absolutely best youtubers ever. Zdraví Nogy. Greetings from Czech Republic.
I do. It was the only show that I used to sing the show's intro.
I remember seeing this show on the TV but it was at the point in my life that I rarely ever watch TV Shows and when i did, it was either rewatching something or watching a show i already liked.
Wait... Remember Sidekick
the animation/artstyle of that show is great
i swear all the shows from 2009-10 the animations were crisp n cleann. or well good for a cartoon back then
Now this is another show… that I don’t know!
I never really got into the show(only able to sit through an episode or two at a time), but I loved that intro!
You just pulled out a forgotten childhood memory from the depths of my mind.
It's been like 15 yrs so i don't remember the show that well. What i do remember was enjoying it alot. Tbh, way more than i expected. I think it aired from my last year in middle school to the end of my freshman year. I was at that age where
As random as this is, Jimmy 2 shoes reminds me spring/ summer nights. The reason is cause when it aired. They would show it at night around 930-10 and my parents would be outside having their daily talks with family and neighbors around. I had the living room TV to myself, which was the nicest tv we had, and this show would be on lol for a solid few months. I watched Jimmy 2 shoes daily till i started high school.
Yay! Someone finally is covering this cool show!
as a Canadian kid growing up with this show, it did catch my attention for a long time. At like 13 i remember wondering about the world at large in this show and back then i had the internet yeah but it was for messaging and memes more than actually looking stuff up so the only way id get the info i wanted was by watching the show more. I was more a Teletooon at night person anyway so for a day time show to catch me and have me record episodes for later, its really impressive.
God thinking back, it wasn't even that long ago, but instead of my computer id be stuck on the TV all day. I like knew when shows would start, like Forget About It ALWAYS showed an episode at 10:30pm and then right after was Robot Chicken or Crash Canyon depending if either had a new episode....
I really liked those shitty shoes 😂 I dont think ive watched cable TV in about 6 years now. Wow.
Wait Remember Lagoost Mission? ( Or something like that from the name). It was like Slugterra from animation. About a boy that was taking training in the flying city from he's grandpa( if I remember correctly) about Breath of Majin. And he had a grilfriend ( childhood friend). And there was that dou of bad guy's( a man and a woman) and this one guy wanted that Breath of Majin. I can't find it any where. Someone maybe remember that?
thank u so much, i forgot this and I've been tryna remember it for yearss
Oh!! I remember this show!! Very little of it tho, i remember i liked the girl specially the first season interactions
Considering "Absoutively" is a word that has overwritten "Absolutely" in my vocabulary for many years. Yes I do in fact remember this show.
This was my favorite show when I was having panic attacks at 3am
been a bit since i heard that show, have to say it was a very fun show for what it was, and was actually interesting as you could clearly see it was hell , i did think that jimmy was put there to basically be luscious' torment
While watching this i was so tripped out how i remember watching this in Disney xd. But now its just a mandela effect now i just remember key components and they look so familiar but still confused since i didn't remember any episodes from this show
Jimmy Two-Shoes was knows as Jimmy Cool in Europe/Scandinavian countries. They aired it on Jetix and maybe on Disney XD when they started the channel in Nordic/Scandinavian countries.
i remember my brother almost getting washed away in a river, had to save him and then just put this shit on to block out what just happened
I still remember that blond character in my brain when was like 12 and 13
Two fringemas without the divorcing part!
Yippee!
Any chance for a Handy Manny episode?
I used to freakin love this show!!! I woke up super early in high school just to watch it cause it had like a wicked early time slot, like 3 am or something.
Weirdly in the Philippines it was shown in Cartoon Network instead of Disney XD or Disney Channel
i freaking love jimmy two shoes, it one of my favorite canadian cartoon alongside ed, edd n eddy and grojband
This was my childhood and I swear I saw it on Cartoon Network (maybe because I don't live in the US) and I most fondly remember the Miseryville Moments shorts
I love that show
yea i remember it was one of my favorite cartoons back then
You should do one of these vodeos on a show i remember absolutely loving, its called The Deep and its about a family that explores the ocean in a giant exploration submarine
Thank you for reminding me this fever dream of a show exists XD
I used to watch this show with my brother all the time. But he claims that he never did. We couldn't remember the name for the longest time, so he swore I made it up. Thank you for reminding me!
I remember the shorts and a couple of full episodes of this on CN. Don’t recall seeing this on Disney XD.
I believe it also aired on Teletoon or YTV. I don’t know it’s been a while since I’ve remember watching that show, but I’m pretty sure it was either Teletoon or YTV that also shared its airing. Schedules.
WAIT... Remember Galactik Football?
I really enjoyed this series, this video gives me deja' vu, feels like it has already happened.
My man literally opened some lore about my self years ago 💀
Heck yeah I do. I really loved this show. I found it was really funny. And I don’t understand why I was interested in it so much. I’ll always have an appreciation for this show
I remember that he was voiced by Cory whatever his last name was, the same voice actor as mike from tdroti
You unlocked a core memory
Hey Fringe, would be cool if you did a Wait Remember episode with Eon kid (or Iron kid as it's called). I have vague memories of watching the show when I was a kid, and I'm pretty sure others who have also watched it can relate to that too. Just a suggestion :)
Never heard of it but now I’m curious
I do remember it, and I do like it. Heck, I heard about the lost pilot too. As such, I do think it should've been on Adult Swim so they could go all the way with the "Happy Go Lucky Kid living in actual Hell" story.
I loved this show when it came out. The intro was fun and upbeat and I just loved the tone in general. I don't like that Jimmy is supposed to be dead, I thought it was just a miserable world where Jimmy spreads happiness no matter what which I thought was a better idea. Heloise and Beezy are great characters with layers to their personalities and not just dumb or crazy.
I actually totally forgot about this series and honestly thought I was just imagining it existing totally didn't know the name thank for the video at least I know I am not crazy
Jimmy two shoes sounds like
It's one of the Goodfellas 😎
Me seeing this old show I used to watch as a kid: You're as beautiful as the day I lost y'a
no, i do not remember jimmy two shoes
