Interesting videos it gave me ideas on how to install my Lifetime Hoop, and very nice of you in wanting to help others installing their hoops who can't afford a company to install. Blessings to you and your family.
We have the exact net being delivered, my 5 and 10 y/o daughters love their small roll around unit, but it’s worn out. I’ll watch all three of your BB Net videos again a few times. Thanks for all the work!
Thank you for doing the series and your thoughts on this hoop. We are looking at the same model but couldn’t decide in this one or a more expensive one. Some if the reviews said it vibrated a lot. Your thoughts assured me that we didn’t need the expensive one with a good install. Thanks!
Looks like a very solid installation 👍
How many days did you let the concrete dry before you set goal?
Gracias mi amigo all the information help me a lot thanks:)
Could I use the 2 part mix instead of concrete?
What is the top of the backboard when it is at 10ft? I have a tree and internet wire near by.
helpful video, thanks a lot
Dont forget to pack down dirt on bottom before concrete
In the original video you only dug down 30”. The instructions say 48”. The mounting plate is below grade if it’s below the grass line, all the run off will pool on that plate. A few water drops will run off sure but that hole will fill with water. Those decorative pavers serve no purpose except to keep water in.
It never holds water - and I followed the instructions to the letter!
@paulsmith9009 needs to go be a Karen with people that enjoy him, whoever those people are
I install those quite often and it's not as easy as claimed, especially when it comes to the higher quality brands.
You could drill 4 small holes in the concrete and bolt down the hoop
Drilling holes and using the normal anchors that you can run into the local hardware store and get have higher rate of failure and has caused serious injuries to property and kids.
Those bricks could cause an injury if a person isn't paying attention where they land after a layup
Page 9 in the instruction manual says 48”
Maybe since I did this install they updated that depth!
