Totally forgot about the GRP Christmas Collection (I love that last track that Dave Grusin played solo piano on). Another good 'jazz' Christmas album is Duke Pearson's 'Merry Old Soul' (Blue Note, 1969), (he was a great pianist and he arranged a lot of those mid-1960s Blue Note records for people like Hank Mobley, Lee Morgan and others). In no particular order, my personal favs, and we have two in common: Vince Guaraldi Charlie Brown Christmas, Stevan Pasero Nutcracker Suite , Larry Carlton Christmas at My House, Frank Sinatra Jolly Christmas, Nat King Cole The Christmas Song, Phil Spector Christmas Gift. top 6 but its not Christmas for me without Bing Crosby White Christmas and Andy Williams Christmas Album. With the exception of Larry Carton and Stevan Pasero these are predictable, but predictable for a reason...
