    Some say the plane is still sitting on the launcher today

      I'm so disappointed we didn't get to see it launch!

    Very good instructions, but I gave a thumbs down because I expected a launch.

    Awesome video ! Very informative ! I've incorporated many of your ideas in my setup which I hope to make a video myself in the near future. One question though. Its awesome, not to mention, extremely safe, how do you manage to arm and disarm your throttle? Have a Taranis myself, so you really caught my attention. Thanks for your time.

    hello brother, I have a question, how do you find the pulling force with the scales,,,that is, how many times the weight of the plane you will fly should be, the weight you measured in the tire,,,I don't know if I can tell you,,my plane is 1kg,how much should I pull the tire,thank you for your answer in advance

    How did you derive launch force required for each aircraft ?

    • @LinnAerospace
      @LinnAerospace  6 років тому +1

      Marty, we use about 5 times the weight of the aircraft. This seems to be a pretty good rule.

    How do you work out the pull weight for any particular model?

    • @djacob7
      @djacob7 6 років тому

      Stephen hathaway, about 5X the plane weight.

    the title of the video is "bungee launcher setup" NOT "glider launch setup". It was about setting the launcher for use.

    but why are you putting that plane thru that much stress just throw it. I think it's a bad setup I think after so many launches you're weakening the structure. you're going from 0lbs of force to 22lbs instantly. if the plane is to heavy to hand launch it idk man I defintly don't like to put that much force on anything.

      For me it's perfect man, I think its more comfortable, or maybe you go by your own (I know it's weird but can happen), or maybe you do it just for enjoying what this hobby is made for: to plan, build, test, calibrate and repeat it until works perfectly :D
