Wow I'm kinda surprised zero two is not famous in Japan.I think she is famous overseas because of the "darling" catchphrase and the zero two dancing video plus her sex appeal too since her character design and personality is quite sexy and seductive which a lot of people fell in love with. Fun fact there's also a nasi kandar store named zero two in Tokyo.
In Japan, in 2018 when "Darling in the Franxx" aired, "Karakai Jozu no Takagi-san" and "Violet Evergarden" were hot topics! Particularly, Takagi-san was so popular that Zero Two's impression seems to have been overshadowed! Of course, I watched Darling in the Franxx too, but I honestly don't understand the appeal of Zero Two! It seems like many Japanese people tend to like Ichigo and Kokoro's characters!😊😊
@@taka.otakulifeMaybe it got overshadowed because it's a mecha+ecchi anime which is kinda a niche genre and not mainstream although Kidou Senshi Gundam:Suisei No Majo(機動戦士ガンダム 水星の魔女) is quite popular in Japan last year even though they have the same genre. Ichigo has a lot of fans overseas too but not as popular as zero two.I understand why people like zero two but personally she's not my favourite.Different people different tastes I guess.
i dont know this place exist if i didnt watch taka video. as otaku i enjoyed this video and will go there someday. i hope found taka in other anime con in malaysia lol
