when the omnitix was shown asmith worked on this shit for 6 years when ben got the prototype ben hitting hard on the new omnitrix makes to glitch the aliens thats why he never gets the alien he wants he has to press it gently
The watch has advanced or sentient AI that knows what to pick for Ben and it knows it is the best suited for the situation. Ben just has to figure out a clever way of using the aliens his given
