2:24 Bhutan is a young democracy and it was a pleasure to watch their parliamentary proceedings on TV, as an Indian while travelling there. Their representatives conducted themselves honorably and talked about relevant local issues without any disturbance. For an Indian citizen, it was a welcome surprise, since we are used to shouting, bickering and blockades of procedures from our representatives.
It's great David sir....ua food travel to bhutan were all awesome...n u eat chillies lyk ua oua own people....luv it sir...hope to c u visit again in BHUTAN

Hi David, I have watched alot of your videos and have enjoyed them all! However I must say that you are supposed to eat all the dishes with the rice!!... not on it's own! Nevertheless I am glad you liked bhutanese food and the chillies!
I think around March cuz he went to watch Punakha festival as soon as he reached Bhutan, so maybe just 1-2 days before the first covid19 case was confirmed (March 6) in the country.
David Do you really so hot stuff ? Never this kind of appetite for Chilli in India. Is it for real or a point to ramp up the following ? As it looks to be bit OTT
*Myself, probably ain't going to go Chat that much but, hopes that all is well with you & also ya' Love 1's,. Thnx, only in advances. Anyways, I've totally appreciates ya' spare times & all (Nevertheless, me Mr, Amos).*
Well if you prefer western food we have plenty as well but when you are traveling outside we need to experiment the dish of that country and also he tried only local food and our menu is limited and similar in all parts of our country and also there is lots to do if you visit bhutan like hiking ,where you will get to see our most sacred areas and river rafting ...but you need to visit during tourist season ...
“Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder”. Loved my time there. As an Indian I was hesitant coz I thought it would be similar but I was wrong it’s truly an awesome experience.
Those deities are beautiful......i cn understand y smbdy frm west when luks at deities of hindus or buddhists may find dem scary. Their scariest form is to fight evil to protect people. So dnt go by their appearance u hv to know their back story to appreciate them.
haha you need to learn how to bargain ;) little shops like that, even in India, usually keep the prices high because they know customers bargain. Esp. Indians. Its like an inborn talent lol
Most of the shops in Bhutan are fixed price shop. We don't like bargaining. But we do bargain when we go to India Coz people there keep their prices really high. In Bhutan it's reasonable price.
I would be bored to de@th in Bhutan, as you can't go to the place you're willing that is not endorsed by Bhutanese gov, and a guide will always monitor you 24/7, like in a dungeon.
Nope. I have been there and saw nothing of the sort you fear. Once, I went to a local cafe at night in Thimphu, had a glass of 1907 and enjoyed some good music. Just don't smoke in public, it is a criminal offence.
Bhutanese Government doesn't encourage free tourism. If you want to visit Bhutan then you always have to take a prearranged tour from one of the packages available by Government. And you cannot roam freely by your will. Wherever the guide takes you, you go, otherwise no. That's like North Korea 😪
N M its absolutely nothing like North Korea, there’s no need to be so dramatic. High end tourism is the reason why we are able to preserve our environment and cultural heritage. Nothing worse than cheap tourists and backpackers and staining our landscape.

As there are no opposition on their House or Parliament, to be honest.
Because if there are, there would be like a regular Parliament or Congress.

Bhutan food doesn’t look good. Monotonous.
Also the guide is not a foodie. He seems more cultural.
Too much exaggeration by this bhutanese fellows. Not realistic and authentic
