this was one of the very first games I ever played in an arcade! (sit down version!) I was around 8 years old! I think I had MAYBE played pac-man before that, but saw this in our local movie theater and, not sure how, but convinced my dad to load it with quarters and let me play a game or 2! I had NO idea what I was doing, lol, but I think I remember it was fun!
I LOVE this game! It’s actually not as difficult as you may believe because you can “dock” at the starbases in order to repair shields and such. You can play for quite awhile on a single credit!
Yeah I saw that and I also saw people blowing up the stations while I was looking at footage I have no idea "why" you would do that but they did. It still looked pretty complicated for a game around this time but it also looked fun as hell! Thanks for coming by and hanging out btw!
never played the colcovision version it did look really really good though. I wasn't much of a trekkie as a little kid I grew into that so it wouldn't have appealed to me at that young of an age.
Hello there fellow trecky. I would have loved to play this back in the day or now on the arcade. The captains chair cab would be an incredible experience. I have played the MMO years back and it was ok.
Yeah me to man I would of loved this one. I never tried the MMO it didn't really look all that interesting from the trailers was it any good? Also good to see you btw!

I played the sit down version and as a big Stay Trek fan I was in geek heaven :)
I bet I hate I never saw this one to give it a go man! I couldn't help myself but do a video on it when I saw it!
@@geekstorian I'm glad you did, I think a lot of people didn't know about this.

Oh wow, I've never seen that arcade, but I would have totally given it all my quarters back in the day just to sit in that chair
I know right it looks super fun!

@geekstorian Good to see you too, man. It was alright for an F2P MMO, but nothing special.
