Still love watching Tommy Cooper just as much now as I did growing up watching him. Norm was another great comic I loved to watch. RIP to Norm, he will be greatly missed.
When I was a kid Tommy Cooper could make me laugh just by walking on the stage. There was something about him that was so hilarious. He was a natural comedian and the most stupid and daftest things were hilarious coming from him. Thank you for reminding me how good he was.
The new studio is great with all the stuff in the background and all.Great to hear about your Mum,give her our love from this side of the pond from the UK Squirrel squad.
It still amazes me how something as childishly daft as this can be so bleedin` hilarious. I nearly choked on my cup of tea. Absolute classic! (like the new studio - very smart.)
I've not seen Ray Allen with Lord Charles for decades. 😃 Tommy as a folk singer 😆😅🤣😂 I have seen quiet a few of Norms videos. He was one of a kind R.I.P Norm
Great reaction, with a decent cast too...ABBA, Ray Allan the ventriloquist and Topo. Patter patter patter, nice nice nice , evil evil evil...how TC did slight tweaks throughout his career, a true master of his craft. Norm, sadly missed, was a fan for many years, then saw his work with Adam Sandler and Family Guy. RIP
I don't know how many other people will post the same kind of comment, but I'm getting on a bit in years now, and I remember seeing poor but wonderful Tommy Cooper die on TV. He was performing a show on the ITV television channel when he had a heart attack on live TV. Just in the middle of his routine, then he stopped, held his chest and fell back into the curtain behind him. Then the adverts quickly came on. It took the whole family by surprise, we weren't even sure if it was part of the act or real. First reaction when he fell back was, of course, a laugh. Sounds disrespectful, but even then, he made us laugh. Always loved Tommy Cooper because of this.
@@TheRealSquirrel Thanks for the nod. A sad little follow up. I did a quick search after posting this comment, and I found this. If you have never seen the sad moment. ua-cam.com/video/WPyfQYpTJb0/v-deo.html This is what I recall seeing on TV. The strange thing is, I did not recall his assistant on stage, I believed he was just doing a monologue. But I do remember how he slumped, and fell back through the curtain. That was what stuck in my mind. And of course, you can hear the actual response from the audience. New to the channel, but really have enjoyed some of these golden oldies and your enjoyment. Always nice to share what makes one smile. :)
Evil,Evil,Evil...nice,nice,nice !!! good one Squirrel and your hard work with the room has paid off..looks great!....must say,I'd never heard of Norm Mcdonald til he passed..i'll do some digging, thx
I know it sounds silly but I always feel a little sadness when a ventriloquist passes, as more often or not so does the puppet too as 'their voice' is never to be heard again. I think Basil Brush may be an exception and a few others. I guess Lord Charles, Orville, Dickey Mint (Doddy's Diddyman) are just a few.
Thank you Squirrel for TCT it is so apt and meaningful for me today. Love your new Squirrel Studio and hope Momma Squirrel is settling into her new home too. Sounded like a good billing of guests for Tommy with Abba, Ray Allen and Lord Charles and I was waiting for Topo Gigio..oh well may be next time hey! I will see if I can find some Norm McDonald videos as he sounds fun. (RIP)
owwdoo sqizzell me shnizzle , i ov dontknow u but i like u, i soo glad ur mam is close by , brout a tear to my eye to honest . stay strong brother!! allll the best from over the pond
Lord Charles was missing. Ray Allan was a very good vent. and Charles was his upper class dummy. ' you silly ass'. He did a version for children called tich and quakers. Tich being a younger and less inebriated Charles. Quakers was a small duck.
His actual death is on UA-cam. He was doing a bit when he sat down on the sofa & just looked like he'd fallen asleep the audience were laughing until the curtain had to be drawn, Bernard Manning came out and said that he had passed away
If you look at this video at the end when you were talking about the other comedian who you say was like Tommy, you will notice that your voice and lip movement were out of sink a little.
I've never been able to figure it out but he cracks me up everytime.
Ray Allen is a ventriloquist, Lord Charles is his dummy.

Loving the new studio!! You will love Tommy singing “ Don’t jump of the roof dad”👍🐿🏴

Your mom is now the one shouting 'Freedom!!!'.
It's great that she's so near to you.
i watched this with my grandfather as a toddler , i love tommy and i love your reactions
Tommy is awesome 👏🏼 norm will be missed sad topo was not in this but great to see the studio😁😸🐿 §§

Ray Alan was one of the best ventriloquists going, back in the day. You pretty much never saw his lips move.
"I haven’t had the drink yet!"🤣🤣🤣
Good one! :o) I've just watched Benny Hill, in 'Benny Hill-Awful Moments in Telivison (1971)', it's VERY funny! Well worth a reaction! :o)
Love the new setup. A little back light would really help things pop.
Cool space. Lord Charles was the ventriloquist dummy. Very famous back then.

I’ve heard this from many that they laughed thinking it was a gig. He was a true performer still attracting new fans all these years later

Room looking cool, sound and lighting seem fine, but I'm in retail so wtf do I know lol, rip norm 👍🏴❤
Thank You Ezza!
RiP Norm.
The laughter deficit takes another hit.
True 😞
In some ways TC was on the verge of surreal, Pythonesque comedy.

@@TheRealSquirrel Just checked a few of his videos out from You Tube. Respect to the guy, RIP Norm.

Kristine Sparkle is a new name to me.
An absolute one off. Nobody else has ever had an act remotely like this.
Looking good in the studio 👍You need a new opening credit with a growling Squirrel, like the old MGM one! 😆
I will have to work on that!!!
@@TheRealSquirrel If you need $5, I'm in!! 😉
@@ellesee7079 I’ll cover it. Great idea, let me see if I can get someone to do it 😁

I actually saw that clip it’s horrible
never mind topo you are in for a treat with lord charles
Think a very posh Charlie McCarthy and that’s lord charles
There's a funny film tommy Cooper was in could the plank made in 1067
1967
If you look at this video at the end when you were talking about the other comedian who you say was like Tommy, you will notice that your voice and lip movement were out of sink a little.
I think it’s because I tried to put in a noise reduction filter to lower the echo.
@@TheRealSquirrel. Ahh right.
Have you shown your mum Tommy cooper and the two Ronnie's videos
And if so what did she think of them
She says I like Tommy because he is goofy like me and she now enjoys the two Ronnies!
I didn't sub to this channel to watch cruelty to teddy bears.
Rip Norm I just got to know him now he is with the Lord Jesus. repent and put your faith in Christ and he will give you eternal life
