I got mine from ebay, but here they are on Amazon GRT A Pair 1 INCH to 5/8 CAB Heater Y Fittings UTV SXS RZR CAN AM Polaris Made from Aluminum a.co/d/bS0yFtC
I guarantee you still have air to bleed out of the lines. Mine overheated for a while also until I got it all out. You can try filling the entire heater core with coolant, before attaching it to the hoses, so you don’t have so much air in the system. Park your razor up a hill, and keep bleeding it. That was literally the hardest part of the whole project.
I filled the core with coolant, connected it into the system, and ran it with a bottle (big funnel) of extra coolant sealed in the fill hole. Squeeze the hoses, rev the engine, repeat. Parked uphill. Just like in the video.
Yes it needs to be threaded all the way, because you will screw it in most of the way. Ask at the hardware counter. I got mine at Menards. I am sure Lowes would have them too. I think this is the correct bolt on Amazon. Sorry one question. Do I need to add that off valve? Or would it help the coolant stay cooler in the summer now that it has an extra radiator to go through
You don’t need the valve, but trust me, you will want it in the summer. Even with the fan off, hot liquid circulating under your dash will make you hotter.
Sorry have one more question about the torque converter I did the throttle lock thing and the belt on my torque converter still won’t go up. What do I do?
Your engine must not be hitting very high RPMs. Check it with a spark plug tachometer, like this. www.amazon.com/dp/B07PMJH7QV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_TR3H8PX23FGQ3S8PYEHA Email me at HowToLou@gmail.com
Holy cow Lou! 100 degrees in the cabin?! You've made that thing into an all weather beast! Great video.
That method for bleeding the coolant, GENIUS!!
I seen this video n did the front , side, rear , now awaiting for the heater u put in the description, thanks again🤘🤘
Great vid!!!!! Now to go get parts!!!! Thanks
Hey, really good video. One question where did you get the radiator hose wire pipes
I got mine from ebay, but here they are on Amazon

Awesome video. Would you need valves on both hoses? Or 1 good enough? Thanks
Its a liquid loop. One valve is enough to stop all flow.
@@HowToLou great thanks. I’m in process of ordering stuff. Roughly how much 5/8 hose did you use?
I don’t remember exactly, but 6 total feet should cover it for sure.
Thanks for the info. Appreciate it
Why only shut off one heating tube for the summer? Wouldn't you have to shut off both tubes with a valve?
Its a liquid loop. If you shut off a valve anywhere in the loop, no hot liquid flows at all.
What do you think after 2 years , where did yo get the unit from
Hey Lou. Did you end up having to run 2 vet hoses to the windshield for defogging? Your rzr build is exactly what I was planning to do
I have not had any fogging issues. There are still enough leaks to circulate in outside cold dry air to keep humidity down.
Is this heater still working? And also is it waterproof?
We have one of these installed on our rig. We removed the unit and back flushed it but there’s no heat coming from the unit. Any ideas?
When hooking up the heater hoses does it matter witch one goes we’re on the heater
No. The hot liquid can flow either way.
Okay just making sure because mine is overheating now don’t know why

Where would I buy the 6mm coarse thread 2 inch bolt at from the make your mini bike faster torque converter vid?
Any hardware store in the fastener aisle. They are in those pull out tray drawers. They come in a little bag of one or two bolts, not a big box.
@@HowToLou dose it need to be completely threaded?

@@HowToLou thanks makes sense. I'll add a valve. Excellent work
