one quick question if i may ask, How do i turn off anti aliasing , cuz it automatically sets it to tssa, and same thing with the res, it sets it to 1280x720 and it doesnt seem to change from the video config@@f0rbi

you deff DNT need to do all this .... this is what u do with a potatoe ass p.c I have the ROG strix G17 laptop with ryzen 9 and the 4060 8vram I get 230 and that's in 1440p low settings

Hitching is probably more likely ram unless you have a 10 year old cpu. The game runs great for me and I have worse specs@@l0af_o

Good settings, playing on a 27inch 240hz oled monitor so 1440p res was alot clearer for me but the rest made the game run pretty smooth, feels bad having a beastly computer (4090 etc) just to lower settings, also sometimes you can bottleneck ur cpu by playing with to low settings so 1440p def helps there.
This helped me so much. Haven't played it in a while and it was stuttering like crazy and now it runs like buttah. Thanks G

I’m having an issue where when I copy and paste launch options, my ea app freezes. I don’t know how to fix it as there is no guides. Also when I just type it it also freezes

I fixed it though you have to type a few commands like “+fps_max 0 -dev +exec autoexec.cfg” then you go to the front of the commands so before “+fps_max 0” and type in the rest of the commands you want like the stretched res ones.

Insanely good video i run the game flawless. A few queations tho , i see you run fixed refresh rate, but do you still have G-sync on ? im having a hard time seeing highlighted items through the walls when i ping something from the black market. who knows what setting applies to increasing effect of seeing white highlighted stuff across the whole location in where im at?

There are a couple of commands that help with audio but it isn’t drastic. Mostly used for FPS increase :)

any update on the settings for season 20 ! ^^
making a video on it this week! there aren’t too many differences, but i’m gonna change up the autoexec a little bit and do some tweaks to see if I can’t get better performance. on the bright side, they optimized the game a little better in S20 so everyone should have better FPS all around.

When I launch the game for the first time after the changes it worked perfectly and then when I run it for the second time model details became better like before the changes. Idk why...
Could you compete in Official ALGs tourneys with these CFGs? I'm on a potato Laptop and wanna compete these Videosettings CFGs help majorly but I also don't wanna get banned for changing something I shouldn't be changing.

Nah that’s definitely good enough to run apex. There has been a stutter that everyone has been getting lately but it’s pretty random.

120 fov isnt working for me
im capped at 240 fps. I used tobe capped at 300 fps. I have the same settings in nvidia control panel and im capped at 240.
if you use anti aliasing in game currently, why do you turn it from application controlled in NVIDIA to off, does that not affect anything?

So I noticed you have the fps launch options set to 237 it’s also set to 237 on the cfg setting if I wanna set mine to 141 I’d just change them at both points correct?

If I can run my game at 2160p instead of 1080p should I? What the difference and why do some usually use 1080p
Usually the reason as to why 1080p is ran a lot more is because a lot of ppl have a 1080p monitor

fire vid! only issue i have is im trying to have tsaa off and model detail on high but everytime i load in it resets, i found where to change res in the cfg but not too sure where to change those... any tips?
Depending on the file that your changing, go to properties and check the read only box after you have made the changes, any time you want to change something you have to uncheck the read only box.
If your videoconfig is set to read only, that will force your settings every time you launch the game. try to uncheck that and change the settings, then recheck read only

the autoexec cfg file i downloaded it and my pc says it was blocked because its harmful to my pc. so idk about that one
that’s very weird, it’s just a .txt file renamed to .cfg lol. there’s nothing malicious in it whatsoever
@@f0rbi okay sounds good ill take ya word for it. i need something bad man im playing on a toaster i got a shit radeon 570 i literally get 40-70 fps in game i get worse fps then console. it's actually so bad my screen freezes every 10 seconds ill get a kill and screen will freeze for a sec. can barely hot drop because I'm lagging and have like no fps when I'm landing it's so bad its getting to the point i dont even want to play i just factory reset my pc and its still shit, am i going to have to change anything when i download the file ?

Very interesting video, but now I'm puzzled with something else... When I enter whichever game mode (including firing range) my fps will be at something like 145 until it naturally reaches its cap, which is 165. Any idea why?
That’s odd. I know there’s a bug with apex where the game is choppy when you first launch it. Looks/feels like 30fps, but it’s only 20fps lower than whatever your cap is.
If it’s just after startup, it’s normal, just wait it out when you launch the game :)
I actually fixed the issue, but I'm not sure how
My cap is 240 and still has lag spikes in firing range but in br it will be smooth looting and once I start a fight it lag spikes

packet loss is usually server issues so not a problem on your end but more on apex's end
and theres only a client file in the cfg

Go to your hard drive. then go to programmed files then look for steam folder. Google the rest.

you’ve gotta make a custom res, or change the videoconfig file’s resolution to 1680x1050. You can make a custom res through control panel, or CRU

I can assure you that nothing in this video besides the profile file has anything relating to binds. You’ll just have to rebind

if you graphics are messed up u can delete the video settings file then open apex and the default folder will spawn

then your monitor is capping to 60fps, or you have something else capping it
@@f0rbi i dont think its the monitor one is 144hz and the other is 360hz to seasons ago i ran apex fine at 200 fps but i took a break came back and now i cant get over 60fps this is probably the 15th video minimum ive watched
@@muskwaa- try hitting the F8 key in game to cap it higher, it’s within my autoexec
if you use like F3 for anything it’ll cap it lower, but the fps max should override it generally
Yeah I hit the f3 and it went to 30 then hit f4 went to 60 hit f8 and it stayed at 60 😂😂
