Theres a ton of times, where he doesnt get the ball for an entire possesion, but then gets it with 3 secs left on the shotclock, he has to force a shot. His shot selection will get better with experience.
You should be ashamed of yourself for even letting the thought that Chet is somehow better than Wemby enter your mind. Wemby clears chet in every category except efficiency and now that he's playing center that gap is closing. Chet would be nothing without sga

Looking at Wemby’s last 5 games with the minute restriction, I think he has been very consistent and efficient. Maybe the minute restriction is forcing him to do that because he knows he has limited time. He’s making every minute count. Also, the Spurs are also getting better at finding him when he’s open or on a mismatch. There were still a few misses (looking at you Champagnie), but still it’s better than nothing.
He can easily average 10 blocks a game, which is insane. He is only 20 years old playing in restricted minutes. Imagine him with 25 playing 38 minutes.
Wemby is impressive at times, but often is inconsistent. One minute he looks like he could be the best in the league, other times he looks clumsy and limited. Regardless of how it goes, he already has insane length, timing, instincts and interest in finding blocks on defense.
Just looking at his last 5 games, I think Wemby has been more consistent lately. Maybe it was the minute restriction, it was forcing him to be more efficient, too. He knows he has limited minutes so he’s making every minute count. Hopefully, once he comes off minute restriction, he can maintain the efficiency and consistency.
For the first 20 games they weren't even running plays when Wemby was on the court and just letting him do whatever. And he still put up crazy numbers consistently.
