If you're looking for something other than D&D, Bunnies & Burrows is pretty much this, where you play small forest mammals and humans are unknowable eldritch horrors. In an earlier version of the game, if you wanted to do stuff with the human world, you had to roll to determine if your bunny was clever enough to figure out the intricate mechanics of something like a door handle.

Did dimension 20 used this system for Burrow’s hand?

I’m currently playing a simic hybrid wild magic barbarian in the wild beyond the witchlight campaign. One time everyone was shrunk into tiny size and we had to fight giant rats but in reality they were normal size rats. 🐀 It was definitely a fun and interesting experience.

Awesome! Gives me Watership Down vibes too! I've been curious about running an all paladin zombie apocalypse one shot, or a Backrooms based oneshot, trapped in an infinite horror prison!

Tiny Heist with Dimension20 was pretty good. It included fairies and toys.

Honestly, one of the series I'm surprised you didn't mention where anthropomorphic animals use human-made items, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers comes to mind. For "Tiny people living alongside nature (with wings)" I gotta suggest Strange Magic. Weird cast, insane music choices, and a ridiculous plot, but I honestly love every minute of it. (Alan Cumming, Elijah Kelley, Alfred Molina, and Kristin Chenoweth [of Broadway fame, notably Glynda Goodwitch from Wicked] are all in it)

I want to do this so badly 😭 I want to be tiny in DnD!! I want to play a borrower!! I already included these sorts of people in my original story (tiny humanoids can be winged or not able to size change or not, and anthropomorphic animals also exist) maybe tiny humanoids could exist in DnD's world unnoticed, or their home is an offshoot of the Feywild and the party could get sent there by accident, shrunk down to tiny size! It could be such a cool concept!!
Also as a lover of rats, I am sick of them being villains! I want my rats to be the tiny people's equivalent of dogs (and obviously anthro rats exist and are as likely to be good as anyone else)

I've always wanted to run a game like this, but with the additional twist of letting the players build mechs. So you'd have a situation where the players need to suit up to protect the city from the flying terror, but an outsider would just see a couple of small robots fistfighting an owl.

Played in a one shot of this kind. Basically an evil druid wanted to turn everyone in the area into animals so that they (the druid) could control them (the people). However, your party interrupts the ritual and the feedback transforms both sides into small critters. The one shot is then both sides running all over town to collect knowledge and components to undo the ritual. I played a wildmagic chameleon whose colors changed with their magic and ended up being the MVP of the final fight as I turned invisible and sprung every environmental hazard I could while feeding allies potions in secret. 😂

I’ve loved this idea since reading “Wormy” the comic in Dragon magazine from ‘77-‘88. Regular sized characters playing in war games run by dragons and giants.

For the anime/manga fans I would suggest "Hakumei To Mikochi". It's a wholesome slice of life story.

All this talk of tiny things unlocked my childhood memory of the Osmosis Jones movie and the tv show spin off Ozzy and Drix. Stories that featured a white blood cell and a cold pill solving crime inside of the body they inhabit

This video is so nice! Im just starting to write my first homebrew and watching this got my so inspired! I want to find a good way to turn the party into tiny size. I was thinking something like a potion involving pixie components or magic maybe ?

Ever since I saw the film Jack the giant slayer. I've always wanted to do a campaign of normal humans in a world of giants...
Between you and Bigby's book o' giants, I may have to do it now

Dungeon Adventures issue #18. "Chadranther's Bane". PCs and enemies shrunken down to the size of literal gaming miniatures, on an epic adventure in a small roadhouse's garden. One of the most memorable scenarios from that magazine's early years. :-)

I ran a one-shot a few years back for my group, where they were all "awakened" petshop animals, using D&D 5e.
I tweaked the rules mostly by just lowering values for items (weapons, armor, spells, etc), and otherwise rules as written worked fine.
For example, 1d4 becomes 1, 1d6 becomes 1d2, 1d8 becomes 1d4, etc. Surprisingly balances fine. Just gotta toss out CR, as a single kobold is a hard fight now! ;)

I love the idea of making of normally mundane creatures and problems into huge issues or BBEGs for a tiny campaign. I didn't know that it was called Commencialism. I love that word now haha

I'm not gonna type this in all caps because that would be annoying but for context I am in fact screaming this at my computer as I type (at least in my head), but my favorite version of this is the Mushroom Men franchise of video games. The DS game, Rise of the Fungi, captured my imagination as a kid. The soundtrack is amazing, the B-movie theming is great, I can't recommend the games enough for a very sci-fi take on this genre.

Mannn wish I had this stat block two weeks ago. At that time my party were on the flesh of an eldritch being, but did not know at the time. I did a few other things like this, but super cool.

    Ohh this is cool! :0
I was thinking of making a fairy character (like one from tinker bell)
Generally, my favorite piece of tiny world media is a book series called The Littles, it was turned into a show. It’s pretty old and basically a copy of the Borrowers but I still like it a lot :)
There’s also a game called, “Grounded,” 4 kids are shrunk in their backyard and have to survive and grow back to normal. It’s a survival game inspired by Honey I shrunk the Kids.
The last ones don’t really fit but if we’re talking about shrinking to almost microscopic sizes like with the Lice thing, then Innerspace and Fantastic Journey are really cool movies.
