And I am living proof that it works perfectly. I have used it many times (along with all of Damian's other albums) to go off to sleep peacefully. The music is in the binaural audio range that stimulates the gateway to unconsciousness (alpha waves) and the deeper, more restful sleep (delta waves). It really works and the benefit is that the music is so beautiful to listen to.

So, so beautiful. I have been reading about your guitar on your blog and I have several questions (as I am commissioning a bass with much the same desires/wishes). Would you change anything? Scale length (34 instead of 33)? Spacing at the nut? Bridge spacing (17 instead of 17.5)? Etc. Does your low B string give you everything you want at 33? If so, how do you think they accomplished that at 33? How do you think the chambering affected the tone? And last question, what is the weight? Thanks so much for the response and the gorgeous playing.

      Hello Bryan,
I actually sold that bass a few years ago and converted my playing to a five string with a drop D. There is also more information about that five string on my blog. The changes I made were tighter string spacing at the nut and 16.5 mm string spacing at the bridge. The body is thicker, but it’s also chambered. For me 33 inch scale is a nice trade-off between tone and comfort. I would never go shorter than 33 inches. The B string definitely starts to get thinner as a scale is shorter. I am also one of the few that likes a thicker neck, it has a positive impact on tone and for my hands works better. I believe the weight of that six string bass was somewhere around 11 pounds. It was a great instrument, I just wanted something that would be more focused regarding the playing I was doing and what I actually needed. Chambering to me thins the tone a bit, but also produces more dynamics i.e. less compression and makes the instrument sounds more acoustic as one would expect. I hope that information is helpful to you.
      Regards,
      Damian

@@DamianCoccio Thank so much Damian for such a detailed response. It absolutely helps. I am likely going to commission a 5 string with a drop D from Chris May at Overwater Basses in the UK. I sent him several UA-cam videos (of you, Janek Gwizdala and Moto Fukushima) as examples of tones I was looking to achieve. I also sent him your blog pieces on the 5 and 6 string. We have a meeting on Wednesday to further discuss this. Btw, I also bought your Peace Project album and fell asleep listening to it on my lunch break. It's beautiful. Thanks and be well. Bryan

Hey Damian! What's the performance stand you're using? I've got a 7-string and looking to mount it and to keep it out of the way when not in use, for live looping purposes.

Pursuing Results this stand is made by K&M, it is called the performer walk up electric guitar stand.
