Useful video bro... Bro I have 1 interview quen which i faced , basically in pro licence we can schedule 8 times per a day right .. so interviewer asked me that in 1 workspace having 5 reports so each report can we schedule 8 times or for all 5 reports we can schedule 8 times..? Is that schedule is based up on workspace? Please answer this question
In Power BI Pro, you can schedule up to 8 data refreshes per day for all reports within a workspace combined. In Power BI Premium, the scheduling limits are determined by the specific Premium capacity configuration, and they are not restricted to 8 times per day.
Great, concise video :) I’m a little confused by one of the last things you said in the video; after you replaced John Smith with the Power BI user group in the RLS, you said „so that’s how we can use Security Groups to share reports and manage RLS“…. So we’re you saying that by using the AD group to the RLS role, that it also automatically shares it? Or did you mean that you can use the group for both purposes?
Hi Helen, so what I meant is that by assigning AD groups to RLS roles, you can easily manage bulk users in Azure, by adding/removing people in Azure instead of having to do it one by one in the RLS part of Power BI
Hi! Thanks for a great video. I have a question - is it crucial to choose "Security" as the group type and not "Mail enabled security"? What's the difference? In my organization we have some "Mail Enabled Security" groups that we want to share (set mail subscriptions) paginated reports to - will it not work do you think? :)
This is a great question. We've tried using mail-enabled security groups as the sole admins on workspaces, but this results in the workspace becoming "orphaned." So maybe we need to change to a straight "Security" group for this...haven't tested yet.
Thanks for the PBI videos, very helpful

Hi there, I'm not sure, but if its a distribution list it should work, only one way to find out!
