I thank God that JFK was president in my lifetime.
He was a leader who put the interests of America and Americans first.
He had the guts to stand up to foes and the vision and boldness to see and speak of a better tomorrow.
We need a JFK today, but men like him are rare.

All of the children just loved "Jack". His wild rides with a golf cart full of kids shows his absolute joy in life. Someday, I hope, we will see "Sasha" (Natasha) and Malia and the love that this First Family truly has. One sad note is that in one post assassination interview "John John" is asked what he remembers about his father and he says, I don't remember anything." Like his mother, he wasn't going to let anyone into their private world.

I feel like my generation, from 27-37, have such a yearning for this era. Especially because we were the last to grow up before the “technological” wave. Im sure we all remember our grandparents when looking at this simpler way of life. My grandma might have a deck of cards or we watched A movie together...but most of the time was outdoors, enjoying time with family, swapping stories and telling history. Shame people don’t have that really anymore.

more than anything the promise of that young boy whose life was cut short before he even had a chance to do any good, and suffered having his father taken from him so young, the tragedy that is jfk jr breaks my heart. may god give us another who is finally able to overcome and conquer america's enemies within that have robbed us of good presidents, and enslaved us in crypto-tyranny! god bless jfk, jfk jr, and god save america!

It looks like not all of this is from 1963. Looks like some of it could be from 1961. We see Joe Sr. the father waving his hat (this would seem to be before the old man suffered his stroke in December 1961. Also, at times, Caroline looks very small (like she looked in '61) and other times she looks taller (like she looked in '63).
