Thanks to you I have just purchased a second-hand grey nuvac vnp180 with the beast 1200w motor .it was completely ditched when I picked him up and has a brocken front caster and the weight ring missing out of the filter . After a good clean I soaked the filter cleaned it up . Did temp repair on the caster with an old bed one . I dropped a few golf balls in the filter to weigh it down and man I'm i impress with the suction of this thing it sucked the car Matt's clean out of the car . Super long power lead with it being a grey . Super impressed with it and it just cost me £15 and a little time cleaning him up ... he's only for the car so didn't wanna buy a new one ..... the best thing about these machines is how easy they can be taken apart if you do have a problem ... awsome 1200w motor 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
There is a grey vacuum in my work that is used for valeting cars. It is a Numatic. I think it is a 2015 version. Looks exactly the same as James but it is grey and it has Numatic written on it

Henry and james are from the same company they are in one family and most numatic hoovers are my favourite including henry and hetty they are nice vacum cleaners
Do people actually collect vacuum cleaners? Numatic are excellent I must admit. I have a Henry HV200A and I love the Hi button for that turbo kick! I'm pretty sure I had a James once upon a time!

Make sure the round filter is properly located and place the motor unit with the James writing at the front. Ensure the black side clips are pulled out when locating the top and push both clips into place when the top is securely located.
What is the name of the yellow disc that clips on top of the cable because I have just bought a second hand eco save James and the seller didn't have it and I would like to have it or where could I get it please thanks!??
+J&J Hoovers Sorry don't know what it's called, but you can try Numatic's website as they should be able to help. Some models of James did not have that part. I had one a few years ago from new and it didn't come with it.
Are numatics a good Hoover I have a hetty and love her and I think she's great and they last ages what is your favourite numatic I think kids like them because they look nice and friendly with the smile and eyes compared to other hoovers
The yellow James is discontinued. The newer blue version costs around £95 to £100. Henry Allergy is around £200. The new Henry Clean Air is almost identical to Henry Allergy but comes with more tools and is cheaper.

i think they add the fitting the face bit for if you remove it and then you will want to put it back on

I have the henry hvr200-a2 which has the same switch bank as James but it is a 580w motor
I have a 2014 Nuvac and its bend pipe's suction release is different. Yours seems to have an extra bit to push it open with. My Nuvac is 1200 watts.

there is now a jack which is a blue version of James exclusive to tesco for £65 reduced from £70 I'm thinking on getting it for car vacuuming

Henry’s is not a noisy because he has the foam sound reducing thing around the motor James doesn’t have that so he is a bit more noisy
