Marco - you are what I have been looking for on UA-cam. I love the finger picking melodies, they are beautiful to play and even though I cannot sound like you do - I still love learning the melodies. One tip, please make it more common knowledge that you are on Spotify, I found you by chance two days ago and love listening to the various tracks on loop mode. I am sure others would also like to do the same. Keep up the brilliant work.
Great lesson, strumming is essential when it comes to playing the acoustic guitar. I liked the combination of picking and strumming that you demonstrated. Excellent work!
This made me appreciate what i already have , sometimes it's easy to get lost and forget how beautiful these simple chords are when you play them dynamically with feeling , thank you !
I think you are starting to move into the territory that I need to hear about: the difference between just instrumental guitar and vocal accompaniment, which requires less complexity. As usual, very informative. Thanks
I was tired of my chords sounding the same and lacking character, didn't understand what i was doing wrong, that is unit I saw your video. Thank you so much!
Thank you Marco!!! I can't wait to try tips 4&5 out, I love how they sound!! In tip 5 that first combo gave me added hope (as a beginner) for my chord changes lining up a little easier, having that separation between the top and bottom strings,ie the bass in particular. I'm looking forward to doing the slower strum too because it's just beautiful. Awesome tips👍, God bless.
Hello from Nova Scotia Do you have a lesson on your strumming with your finger. I have struggled with a pick for years. That would be great. Love your videos and have learned a lot from them. Thanks
For the starters you can practice strumming using your index finger and thumb holding those together as if you are holding a pick. You just practice strumming nice and smooth just like you do with pick. It may sound not that great and a bit noisy at first eventually it will sound great and melodious and even better. I have done this as well so I can tell. Plus its easier to finger pick the favorite notes without a pick. I hope this helped😄 and yes we would appreciate if Marco makes a lesson about it. ❤️❤️ It will be great. :)
I thought Dynamics was strictly talking about the volume of each strum and that selective strumming was a different beast entirely. I was familiar with the slow strum though, which is actually called swing strumming. It's a really great way to diversify rhythms and has a huge range of what you can do with it. Kudos on pointing some of these out
Wish you would do a video about fret leveling and such. I Would love to see what they are like on your guitar... with the tools. How to set up a guitar... its odd a person cant just buy a new guitar adjust the truss rod, tune it a begin playing. Why arent the fretts leveled even on the expensive guitars... am i wrong... whats going on with that. Thanks.
hi Marco. . i really love your videos and i learned a lot of techniques. . can i ask you something unusual techniques in guitar? CAN YOU DEMONSTRATE IN YOUR NEXT VIDEO HOW TO USE "FAT CHORDS" IN GUITAR? i hope you notice me. . keep it up marco!!!
Thanks for the tips, I'll repay you with a tip of my own. Download Electric Sheep screensaver for your Mac. Your eyes will thank you for it. Your current one was starting to trigger my low level OCD...LOL.
Hi marco can Uh Plz explain where to Use Advance fingerstyle Chords ...... I know the chords shapes But Where To use Instead of Normal Chord ....Plz explain
Hiii... I have a guitar make of KADENCE..... is this good? My actual problem is when I strum for single string... Wrong string get strummed. What should i do for make this correct?
Good technique Sir Marco but please I have one question...Is it important to leave your right finger nails grow as a guitarist?? I learnt it enhances the sound of your finger picking even without a plectrum is that true??
You can if you want! Or, like James Taylor you could buy fake nails and glue them on, they are much stronger than real nails and won't break. Or you can get picks that stick onto the ends of your fingers like finger gloves. Or just use short nails, experient and use what feels right for you.
Hey marco i want to know what chord is it called: 2nd fret 5th string 4th fret 4th string 3rd fret 3rd string Note that capo is on first fret. Also tell me the relative chords
I started to learn and play Marco's music's fast I only use 5 minutes of videos he releases rest of it I just skip, but still,, I dont think I'm ready to be called a musician, of course lots of my friends already call me that but,,,no,,I'm not ready, not yet... .
