Japan bboys are really fresh and original! I was just watching some R16 korea battles and came to this. A lot of contrast. Korea- focuses on technicality. Aggressive. High dependence on big and abstract moves. Japan- focuses on fineness and flow. Cheerful and fun. High dependence on conceptual moves-especially footwork! Close countries, yet very different lol.
Damn. Seeing hip Hop culture being born in the Bronx, it's amazing how it spread over the world over all these decades. I remember in NY ppl hated and misunderstood it. It was only respected by our culture.
