I’m hoping you’ll answer whether the nano-texture glass means we don’t need to buy a screen protector for note taking - or do we still need to buy a screen protector to be able to write smoothly on it? If so, I think I’ll save myself the extra mega bucks.

That's what piss me off about these apple watches, as a proud owner of the Ultra since day one the only thing apple needs to improve about these watches is the battery life, I have a Garmin watch which can go easily 30 days and still have 20 percent left even with heavy usage, we probably don't expect apple to gives is a watch like that but at least 5 full days of heavy use, Am too invested on apple ecosystem and love the apple watch ultra but it's battery is slightly better than others apple watches but it's horrible compared to the competition, we don't need new features, nothing else, only longer and days battery life, we are tired of using these apple watches like accessories

Mechanical watches are circular because it’s basically a gauge used to represent time.
It makes no sense for a smart watch to be circular. There’s a reason screens are rectangular

That’s too reductive. Because watches are traditionally circular we’ve been conditioned to find them attractive when they have that traditional look. Aesthetics do in fact matter.

I sometimes think that it’s an unfair comparison because Garmin is a specialty device while the WATCH has to do so much more and appeal to a significantly wider audience, but I get it. If I turned off cellular and had less stuff going on I could get a full week but it’s nowhere near a month.
I think 4 days of battery life would be nice.

I haven’t had to charge or wind my watch for 20 yrs, because it is kinetic, wear it 24 hrs a day, go scuba diving etc, it cost me £35, or 43usd.

I was too until about a week ago. The battery life wouldn’t get me through the day anymore, so I bought a second hand series 8 off of eBay and sold my series 5
it literall doesnt matter which one you have. theyre all identical. i have the 6 and theres no reason to upgrade
4. The battery died and Apple help me replaced with a refurbished model with minimum cost but new battery.

I just got a Series 9, and the battery actually lasts over a day easily, even with sleep tracking overnight. And it charges fast enough that I just throw it on the charger when I shower, and then it's fully charged by the time I'm done. So battery definitely has not been an issue for everyday usage (this is with always-on-display turned on as well). The only thing that would make it an issue is more strenuous usage, like long workouts requiring constant GPS and HR updates, in which case the Watch Ultra might be a better option for these people anyway.
That’s exactly how you can keep any series after 2 charged at all times. Wake up and charge in shower. Come home from work and take a shower charge. It goes longer periods but it’s up to the users discipline to implement it. It’s not hard. Now with my series 6 and beyond you can charge in the morning during a shower and it’s way more than enough to last.

They should focus on better scratch resistant faces for their watches rather than all this other stuff. It doesn’t take much to scratch them considering Apple states the watches are scratch resistant.

I honestly don’t know where they get this 18h from as I get almost 2 days with my series 9 with always on display enabled all day! It almost put me off buying it but my friend had a series 8 and said it lasted over a day too so I took the plunge and I’m 100% happy with it.

If it’s not the flat sided design, I’m not buying it. I anticipated and waited for 9 to be that design. Needless to say, I have not bought the 9 and won’t buy any other until it is the flat design. Their watches are so dull looking and the flat design looks amazing!

Yo creo que cambiará el diseño pero dejando el mismo agarre de las correas. No tiene sentido y muchos usuarios se enfadarían… además eso es algo que se podría haber echo en el ultra y no ha sido así… es más yo creo que van a sacar 3 tamaños 41-45-47mm y luego el ultra 49mm con los bordes rectos haces algo mas grande el reloj por dentro y tienen mas batería. Además. También pueden hacerlo mas grueso como eran las primeras 3 generaciones.
