Excellent work! This thing looks really good and I'm impressed by how fast you go. Will you post links to the components you used and the CAD files?? Would help so much as I want to replicate this neat project
nice work!!!!!
can you share plans and what motor and buttery you use?
Thank you very much
You can share the 3d files
And also which engine and which esc did you use
very nice i liked the 3d print of the support unit for the motor and water jet thruster.
You are the first one that has actually understood the importance of impeller pitch, many have made way toi much pitch n to the impeller and I have seen awful performances on those. Good work, would like the sounds of the work more than awful music, but it’s just my problem.
Great work guys.
Just built ma self a home hand made budjet board. Would love the drive system you have👍. The thought,s and upgrades I have in mind 🤯. Keep up the excellent work.
Thank you for your comment !🙌 We appreciate the love!
Do you sell the stl file for the jet. Been wanting to build one I mostly build small land evs but really want to do some water sports. Your single drive looks much better and robust than a lot of other builds out there. Love the cahnnel and definitely gained a new sub.
Hi, your impeller has a 85mm and the nozzle, what is the diameter? Thanks.
For all those asking - this looks like an 8080 or 80100 outrunner motor along with an 85mm jet pump.
I found MAYRC 8392. Looks similar
Which ESC are you using?
amazing project)
Super cool man , you are the best water jet
Hey, don't you sell the printing plan for engine packaging? I'm poor but 10 dollars is okay? What are your social networks?
That looks fun
Excellent work, I was wondering how did you managed to join the two compartment "motor and water intake" and maintained watertightness
The two 3D printed parts are glue together, and there is a shaft seal on the impeller to prevent the water to go inside our motor box
@@TheSchmuckCreations Thank for inspiring, how i can share something with you!
Very very cool project...keep up the great work !!!
Bonjour
Super projet😮
Comptez vous partagé les fichiers stl ?
Hi. the jet board was very fun to see that you got together a jet of 3d printnig. i have tried 5 times but have never got it to work. it had no power in the water that was pumped out. so I have switched to efoil.
but do you have tips on how to water proof batteries
a small question can i buy the jet board ..... how much. or just for the water jet?
Thank you for your interest! It is not easy to make a great turbine out of 3d printed parts. If you want to waterproof your batteries, try finding a enclose box with a rating of IP68 and drill some holes for the power cable and pass them into waterproof cable connector. Enjoy!
What is the material you used for 3d print ?
Polycarbonate
Great video. Power full. I want to made it. But now i dont know how to chose motor and diameter of jet. Im 65kg. SSS 56114 motor 360kv, esc 12s 160A, 12s battery, single jet (85mm propeller diameter, 40mm propeller height, 3 blades, jet nozzle 60mm) this parameter need enough for me or no? You have experience, please give advise. Thank you so much
Thank you! The only thing I would recommend you to change in your build is the motor. I dont know the pitch you are using for your impeller, but having a 360kv motor with a 12s battery will give you really high RPM on a 85mm impeller diameter and can lead to cavitation pretty easily and reduce the efficiency a lot. With a 12s battery I suggest you to try a motor between 200kv and 250kv and different impeller pitch. Hope it will help you with your build! :)
Thank for advise. I already order SSS56114 360kv and ESC 12s 160A some days ago. (About 15 days more i receive) About impeller i design 40mm height, 84mm diameter and 3 blades, each of blade turn haft round from top to bottom, this mean is 80mm of pitch? The jet pump i can change design but motor i can't change. Please help me how to change jet pump for fit with motor.
Thank you.
Your build parameters seems pretty good but with your motor you will maybe have to reduce the pump diameter a bit and/or the impeller pitch if you see that the efficiency is not good at high RMP. Be sure that the gap between your impeller and the pump housing is very small to prevent cavitation at your blade tip!
@@TheSchmuckCreations Thank you so much.
@@TheSchmuckCreations hello , can kjngmax reduce to 6s and put an 360a esc to obtain the appropriate rpm? 360kv x 25v = 9000rpm
Hey, Your project is awsome! Can you tell me how much power the used motor has? You did a great job! Thank you!
It is the fastest I have seen in UA-cam. Could you please share your jet thruster design with us?
What batteries are you using. 18650? Or li ion packs?
it's a custom battery pack made of 18650.
Are you selling the STL files yet?
😄
Where can I buy the motor? Can you give me the link?
can you put the specs motor or esc on the description
which motor did you use?
hello, good job works really nice, im chosing the parts to do one of that, the set up is 55113 550kv motor , 360a 6s esc, one 70mm jet drive with 7075 bñade and 6s battery, (12000 rpm off water 10000 rpm on water aprox) , do u think its good set up? im open to changes
Hello, I'm just curious to know what experience you had with your project, I'm also going to do a project, I have the belief that KV is the most important value, what do you think?
Hi, Love this build! You planned out you design very well. I am currently build one my self. would you share what 3D printer you used for the jet drive and what filament? Looking to get a 3D printer.
Thank you Abijah! You can use any kind of 3D printer that can print out Polycarbonate part. Make sure that it's a close environment printer that can sustain high temperature
When will part 3 of this video series be uploaded? I'm very curious to find out more about this board!
It's currently winter out here, we are waiting for the summer to upload more videos of the upgrade. You won't be disappointed 🚀
Patience my friend!
Hi I know you are probably Golding the info pretty tight to your heart but is it possible to know the motor kv and the jet diamiter that you are using?
I also would like to know the motor that you are using.
We are using a 190kv motor with a 85mm jet diameter.
I would like to know if the whole water proof assembly , could possibly be bought as a “kit”?
@@markhottman2652 Hi Mark, unfortunately we are not going to sell a kit in the near future. Thank-you for your interest!
@@TheSchmuckCreations what sort of run time we're you achieving?
Have you produced or sold the 3d print, i have same motor set up
I've been building and prototyping a board for a while now. Glad you achieved success! Any idea on what the thrust output is? I'm going all in on a 110 mm jet with a 150kv 9096 motor on 14s. I'm decently heavy so I really want this to work
We get a static thrust of around 125lbs on this board! You should be good with your build but it always depend on your jet efficiency!
@@TheSchmuckCreations that's more than a lot of commercial boards, very nice. Did you use a hydrodynamic simulation tool to iterate on your designs or just trial and error? On a 12s test I'm getting 37kgs using 4kw, hoping when I bump up to 14s and tune the impeller for 10kw it'll be right where it needs to
@@Koolzr01 We have used a hydrodynamic simulation but most of our big improvement in efficiency were done by trial and error I would say. 37Kg of thrust using only 4kW is pretty good! Keep us informed on what thrust you get on your next build!
@@TheSchmuckCreations you guys have an email? I would love to bounce ideas back and forth
Also that is a Maytech 300A water cooled ESC
Can you share the file of the water jet? Im struggling to find one
That’s a really powerful motor, what’s the name and model
Hello friend, can iget your help do such a system? Thank you
Soo amazing what motor and esc combo is that?
Are these designs open? I want to print one!
I just came across this video. I’m very new to 3D printing but would love to try this build. Is there anywhere I can find the files for the 3D printed components that you used?
May I ask what motor and esc you're using?
Its look like maytech motor 11kw and esc, they are not sharing any info in their built
Do you have the 3D Printer cad files (to share, / distribute)?
Where did you get the electronics (motor, battery, speed controller, and other parts?
1:13 the (2 part) frame housing that you attached every thing to, was it a “kit” or Did you print the “technical cage assembly” your self?
Thank you Mark, unfortunately, we do not provide the cad files or part list. For your last question, all the "technical cage assembly" has been printed by us !
@@TheSchmuckCreations you're planning to sell them or why won't you share?
Its possible to get the stl. parts of the Jet?
You can attach a picture of your battery?
can i see the 3d design file?
awesome jobs!, what is your 3d printer working size to made this?
Thank you! The printing size to make the parts in this video is 300mm x 250mm x 300mm.
@@TheSchmuckCreations infill 100%? is it waterproof enough? or you add more epoxy to waterproof the 3d printed parts?
Are the 3d print files available?
Hello, im like your project, you get nice speed of surf, unfortunately I can't achieve this results, because my water canon is not efficiency, can share with me your 3D file of model to make water canon?
Are you wearing the battery on your back while riding?
How big is the battery?
Are you planning to sale your product in the near future?
The battery is in the board, we are wearing a watertight backpack with a phone in it so we can track our speed! The battery is 52V and 52Ah. We are working on it but yes we are planning to sale the product in the near future! :)
My dream is 80 km/h jetboard... or 50km/h underwater scooter.. but I think it is not possible... :(
hello, can you help me building one like that?
what is the max RPM of your motor?
Well done lads!!!
Nice work 💪 is it possible to get file of the jet?
Hello. What kind of motor do you use?
It's a 9.5kw bldc motor with 190kv.
quel sorte de moteur utilise tu
Are you doing a Kickstarter? How much would this go for when you hit the market?
We aren't going to do a kickstarter for this project but thank-you for your interest!
Are you going to market I'm interested in buying :)
@@louiemendoza We are working on many different product but we aren't going to hit the market with those one at the moment.
@@TheSchmuckCreations thats a shame, I would also buy one. This probably the nicest design I've seen so far of non commerical board.
@@cynide89 We are very happy to hear that! We will try to continue to impress you!
You guys are smart and can figure it out but I have to say that - be careful with that ESC position, if that coupler breaks or get tangled up with the wires you'll end up in big trouble.
Bravo
Wow looks amazing! How did you come up with the waterjet design? Love to know more about it!
We 3D printed a lot of different homemade designs until we got what we wanted!
what is the size of your water jet set?
It depends on the motor, it can vary between 70 mm to 100 mm
I love it! 🙂
what is the real size of the water jet here? sounds like bigger than 70mm)
The water jet we are using in this video is 85mm in diameter
@@TheSchmuckCreations Have an STL File of the pump?
@@TheSchmuckCreations Also whats your part list?
also,
May i have your files? :) or buy them off you
Could you sell the jet pump assembly as a kit? And some basic instructions. I'd consider it
Hi Phil! Unfornately we are not going to make a kit for sale for the near future but thank you for your interest!
@@TheSchmuckCreations cool. Cheers 🍻
can i get your file thruster jet 3d printing

what power the motor of how many watts?
The motor is around 10kw of power.

Cool video but even better without the music.
Great, I also want to be one

Quase alcançou o pato
Do you have GPS data for the speed?
My dad and I build a jet board sometime ago, and managed to get it up to just under 40km/h (it was using a 12S battery).
You can see it here in action: ua-cam.com/video/EsRiNROaXUE/v-deo.html
We use our cellphone with an app to get the speed! Yesterday we tested a new motor and it reach just over 50km/h! I saw the video of your board a time ago, you and your dad did an awesome job!
awesome job. terrible music
Thank you, we will do better for the next video!
