I read all the comments you gave your stamp of approval and it’s clear you have no human empathy for the beautiful intelligent whale encased in a glass prison for your entertainment. You’re hoping for as many “likes” as you can get so you’ll get paid $. It’s animal slavery that you are promoting. Imagine you confined to your living room with visitors walking by, gawking at you, laughing and pointing at you, encouraging you to do some form of a “trick” for them and their kids. Eight hours a day-everyday while you walk around your 8X10 foot room remembering being with your family and friends and swimming about the world at your leisure. But wow, today someone plays some music for you! Imagine that! Just imagine that!
If you opened his door to the ocean and freedom how long do you think that beautiful intelligent whale would choose to stay there and look at your camera and your grinning face? You’re profiting from an enslaved animal by encouraging people to “Please Help Spread This Message . . .and Subscribe...”.

I'm a guitarist/composer/arranger,and that violinist makes me wish we could collaborate. Every note is just delectible! And I was a Nightwatchman at the Cleveland Zoo for 30 years. It ended up being a perfect combination. I fell deeply in love with my job. Our animal kindred, let me assure you, have a vibrant inner world like us. They love, feel lonely, grieve and even laugh. Don't ever underestimate them. A few weeks ago,I sat and played guitar on my upstairs porch. A chipmunk stopped by for birdseed, but then she stopped, and just sat and listened. You'll see many more clips on UA-cam of animals stopping and listening. I'm convinced that our relationship with Nature is changing, for something better, deeper and with much more loving kindness.

. . . " Most animals ... are better than most people " I was told by a remarkable mentor , guide and true ' mountain man ' ( Are you still out there , Duncan Martin? ) I did not quite ... 'get it' in my mid-teens , I do so now and have done for a long time , over 4 decades on . You said so little but taught me so much ... " up hill and down dale "

I know these whales! The one watching the violinist is Juno (the silly in the background is Kela). I had the privilege of getting to meet Juno up close and pet him, learn about him, and even take part in his enrichment. He absolutely loves humans and is completely fascinated by us, perhaps as much as we are by him. He’s incredibly playful and curious and loves when musicians visit or anyone else he thinks particularly interesting. He’s an amazing creature and I miss him very much, it’s so wonderful to see these videos of him and his friends in mystic.
Also for anyone complaining, he and Kela were captive bred. They can’t live in the wild. Mystic Aquarium is not only a haven fir captive bred or rescued animals but a research center - the workers will document his health and behavior as well as Kela’s and use it to help understand and save their wild counterparts. It was also requested that the whale facility become part of the aquarium as Mystic has a rich history with whaling, and because the local Native tribe (the Mashantucket Pequot people) have a love and admiration for whales - whales are sacred to many tribes.

This proves that atleast dolphins have a direct link between what you complained they didn't or lack of evidence there of. Is this sufficient enough evidence to possibly bring the conversation about to one of, dolphins and whales "might" see echolocation clicks similarly to how we perceive light through our retina. Possibly with less verbal vitriol.... Sheesh.

Gon I’m sure! Most sentient creatures are far connected by telepathy & to the Earth...civilized man is the most disconnected & unintelligent of all creatures...I’m totally convinced of this! Those still in the bush never lost their telepathy nor their Earth connection, as their feet never leave the Earth! They are all taught to be leaders & their survival skills & intuition far surpass most...like the natives of the Americas! The Apache’s are still using their tracking telepathy & Animal communication today! It’s fantastic, but true!
