Hello Veronica! I'm Carlos, a professional linguist, instructor and live language interpreter on radio and TV. I recently discovered your channel while learning Russian and subscribed to it. I've watched several of your videos and noticed your fluent speaking abilities in them, which is fantastic. However, in this particular video, I observed that you were mainly reading a list of phrases without establishing a connection to real conversation. To provide an analogy, it was like you presented us with a basket of apples... but for us, language learners, seeing the apples attached to the tree is more important for it provides a clear picture of how language actually works.
Given my background as a professional linguist, language instructor and live interpreter, I believe there might be a more effective approach. Most of the vocabulary you presented here appears to be at the B2 and C1 levels. Therefore, I'd like to suggest that, in future videos, you consider speaking freely and naturally while maintaining a connection to real-life situations. You can continue with the format of walking around, as you did here, but consistently express yourself in Russian, speaking clearly and at a moderate pace suitable for levels B1, B2, and C1.
As language learners, witnessing your daily use of Russian in different contexts would be more beneficial for us - your students and subscribers - compared to the list you provided. For instance, at 02:11 in the video, you could seamlessly integrate phrases like: "As we continue our tour along Dzerzhinskaya Street, I must admit that exhaust fumes from moving vehicles are not my favorite thing in the world." This way, we can better grasp and internalize the language in practical situations. Eg. ...поскольку мы продолжаем нашу экскурсию по улице Дзержинского, я должна признать, что выхлопные газы от движущихся транспортных средств - не самая любимая вещь в мире.

Я преподаю русский язык 10 лет, из них 7 лет работала в институте, 3 года частной практики. Я преподаю русский язык иностранным сотрудникам транснациональных компаний, банков и посольств.
Этот канал я веду с любовью и искренней надеждой, что он кому-то полезен в изучении русского языка. Тем не менее, на данный момент он практически не приносит дохода. У меня нет монетизации от Ютуба, и весь мой энтузиазм поддерживают мои дорогие платные подписчики, которые поддерживают мои старания на Бусти.
В связи с этим я не могу и не хочу тратить уж очень много сил и времени на ведение этого канала. На редактирование этого ролика у меня ушло несколько часов. Нарезка роликов, вытягивание света и цвета, удаление шума, наложение звука, наложение текста, перевод отдельных слов и т.д. - всё это долгий и кропотливый труд в основном за спасибо...
А если я буду говорить в нормальном темпе и длинными предложениями, то редактирование ролика займёт не просто часы, а целые дни!
Я с вами абсолютно согласна, что предложенный вами подход был бы намного более полезным, но для меня, к сожалению, это слишком затратно по времени...
