Anti-Flag did that when I saw them at a music festival earlier this year, same with a lot of underground/local punk bands in my area that play smaller shows where they can walk on and off the stage since there's no barrier or security
That's how the pits are, yeah it looks chaotic, violent, but if someone drops, falls every dude is there to pick them up , everyone gots everyone's back. a place to release, vent, but also much love there from the other moshers
Like ‘em or hate ‘em, Limp Bizkit still knows how to get crowds going. And of course, what band has a guitarist that goes into the mosh pit for the buildup of their most intense song?
Wes is by far the coolest member of Limp Bizkit. Incredibly talented guitarist, is their primary composer, and can play many other instruments. He also has an amazing voice (his vocals on their Master of Puppets cover sound just like Jason Newsted from Metallica)
@@phillipstradlin9031 Woodstock 99 was probably the most out of control concert in the 20th century. During LB's performance Fred attempted to go into the crowd but he quickly reversed it. Wes would've most likely never gotten out.
@Johnny Vex I went too hardcore shows a lot before the apocalypse, and I can tell you there's a big difference between doing this in a basement show or small/medium sized venue and attempting it in the literal baseball stadium crowds that these guys have been playing for so long. Hardcore shows you're mostly risking some punches and kicks to the head, but Wes here is taking the chance of being flat out trampled.
Do you know other bands doing that kind of stuff live? Of course it exists, but I mean, Wes borland is one of the most interactive guy with the public, so much energy and so much talent, he's not like the others, and that's him who made me like playing guitar So much inspiration with that guy
Mad props Wes, for going in this close. Warped Tour in the 00's reinforced his wants & needs. Coming from 90's Nu to wanting the same closeness in 2018, this is night & day.
This was the coolest clips I've seen on UA-cam of them. Gave me chills. 57 here, so I was a 90's kid. love seeing the new generation kids embracing the music we listened to 30 years ago. Amazing time to be young. Amazing music. hell I Miss them days. Going to watch now this video again. Freaking amazing. see you limp 2024 in da pit. OUT.
I met Wes at Family Values in Phoenix AZ. My friend and I waited by the busses for the bands, and he was the only one, who stopped, said hello, and signed a piece of garbage I found on the ground. Thanks Wes!
O cara pra conseguir tocar a música no meio de um mosh mesmo com o pessoal protegendo tem que ser muito brabo, e qual outra banda/artista desce na plateia e toca a música no meio de geral? Limp bizkit é foda pra kralhoooo
Darty Dancing yep pretty sure you have shitty taste in music to come on a video of this band just to trash talk haha i mean lots of other artist you can go bash their shit , way worst than them .
How many bands do that???
No Bands but Limp Bizkit :D
Anti-Flag did that when I saw them at a music festival earlier this year, same with a lot of underground/local punk bands in my area that play smaller shows where they can walk on and off the stage since there's no barrier or security
trivium becoming the dragon
actually, lots of bands do that... but only with their singers, not guitar players ;)
Lots. Lol.
The dudes protecting him in the pit are the real mvp’s!!
That's how the pits are, yeah it looks chaotic, violent, but if someone drops, falls every dude is there to pick them up , everyone gots everyone's back. a place to release, vent, but also much love there from the other moshers
Ivosazar no, not always dude, Infact people have died in limp bizkit mosh pits before, this is why him doing this is such a big thing in my opinion
LOL those "mvps" are LB staff/bodyguards not random dudes from the crowd
bbpoltergeist - really just looks like it was just randoms in the crowd to me
hummm if everybody were like u nobody would get hurt in moshpits
This is Why I love Wes Borland.
He's the heart of Limp Bizkit
Fred is mate he didnt leave the band for 2 albums like a bitch. Seen fred go into the crowd much more than wes. But still awsome
What? lol. He's an important part of the band (like everyone in it), but he's not the heart.
Alright folks as you say.
He's more of the brains behind their music, it just wasn't the same when he left back then.
talented as hell
Wes Borland is a national treasure and must be protected.
Honestly im not a big fan of fred durst but his vocals still sound the same since the 90’s thats pretty cool
Yeah for his age its crazy how good his voice still sounds lol
Fuckin awesome eh
He uses a techniche called "no drugs". Not common in the industry.
@@joseyuyarimilianmartinelli750 dude smokes several joints on stage, what?
I love limp bizkit!!!
pray for my boy Wes Borland. nothing wrong with him he's just playing the riff to break stuff in the middle of an audience
His guitar went out of tune immediately
That mad lad
@@mattkoonts3007how come
Metal fans are the best. Not one person getting out of line.
Yeah I saw some djs try this at Tomorrowland. No way. It's too bad people gotta ruin it for others tbh
Well if they didn’t have security there it may of been a different story
So true bro ✌️
Gotta love how a bunch of 'em immediately formed a circle around Wes, just to make sure that he wouldn't get injured during the drop
Uhm Woodstock 99 same song 😂😂
"Here comes the best part.... time to record the sky"
Everyone went wild and started jumping. Probably pushing the guy recording.
He was jumping, dummy.
You both dont get jokes too much do you?
@@saturnoenllamas I do, but I couldn’t tell that was a joke.
@@EyesHaveMiles420 why would he want to record the sky?
Wes is such a bad ass
Like ‘em or hate ‘em, Limp Bizkit still knows how to get crowds going. And of course, what band has a guitarist that goes into the mosh pit for the buildup of their most intense song?
I still want to see them doing N2Gether Now live!! It’s kind of impossible without Method Man but still would be great to hear live anyway
Dream theater
I bet security had fun lol
chris murlock lol
Build fish tank
No need for security. The crowd was the security lol. Nobody there had bad intentions.
Security looked a little scared🤣😂
I have a weird love for Limp Bizkit especially with Wes Borland
Musically LB is underrated.
@Mike K Have you ever stared in to those deep black eyes?
They’ve been playing shows for the longest time and nobody’s cared! Then they did Lolla and they’ve gotten tons of attention again
I get it. I’m not gay but, you know.
Wes is by far the coolest member of Limp Bizkit. Incredibly talented guitarist, is their primary composer, and can play many other instruments. He also has an amazing voice (his vocals on their Master of Puppets cover sound just like Jason Newsted from Metallica)
Wes has the greatest outfits and make-up. Something about those fully black contacts gives me the creeps.
This look is awesome!
I don’t know what planet Wes Borland is from, but he sure is a national treasure.
If this was Woodstock 99 Wes wouldve got eaten alive probably
True
Doesn't matter the size of the crowd. It's all about crowd control. And Wes sure fuckin has it
Well, it’s just like that one LB song: “I’ll eat you ALIIIIIIIIVE!”
@@phillipstradlin9031 Woodstock 99 was probably the most out of control concert in the 20th century. During LB's performance Fred attempted to go into the crowd but he quickly reversed it. Wes would've most likely never gotten out.
The crowd was mild, I'd say very lucky, you can't predict this sort of thing
I don't get why people don't like them, fun music, funny guys and and talented musicians and they put a hell of live show.
It was mostly Fred's personally. Their fan base didn't help either.
@@PM-qp5he True!
The fascist establishment now allows you to like them without negative social consequences.

He got to big, and when cool white guys get too big, certain cats get jealous and cut us down.
He did this during Break Stuff when I saw them in 2014. I got pushed into Wes Borland and his body paint got on my hoody.
wow
themadrapper101 u need to frame that hoody!
themadrapper101 sell the hoodie on craigslist, facebook marketplace, and ebay yo...
Please tell me you didn't wash it ever again?
You better have not washed that hoodie
Gotta give the fans credit for protecting him.
That was actually pretty cool and ballsy of him

So much inspiration with that guy
I watched zakk Wylde do it at generation axe. He was wired and the sound guys and security had to have like 8 guys carrying his wire lmao
Slipknot been doing it since a while back
Mad props Wes, for going in this close. Warped Tour in the 00's reinforced his wants & needs. Coming from 90's Nu to wanting the same closeness in 2018, this is night & day.
I fuckin love how the inner circle is staying low and holding everyone back so everyone else around can see
Wes Borland was always underrated, dudes as metal as anybody else.
Bring ROCK back!!!!!
still fab lol
swapnil ghorpade yesss
That is not fucking rock
swapnil ghorpade it is back

Absolutely awesome, so feel good! Love Wes and his passion for his work and keeping it different!
They LOVE their fans so much. Awesome.
He's my favorite guitarist ever! 🔥
Love how Wes throws up his hand and the crowd explodes with energy
Dude, this was the most metal thing I've ever witnessed in a live performance (aside from "Defying Gravity", Wicked).
I love this comment.
Awesome!
What a great band, what a great crowd.

Amazing
I love this so much I watch it every night before bed 😂

This is a concert!!! Wes is still epic!
So rad that Wes jammed out in the mosh like that!
😊😅
amazing man
Great stuff!
I feel he was well equipped as his Jackson has a reverse headstock that could pierce flesh
That is dope..
he is F amazing !!! this is how you show full trust and love for your fans , not many do something ike this .
The dudes in the pit are legit. Enjoying the moment and protecting the homie.
This is the "Oh Shit!!" moment for the security. 😂
Looks like fun hopefully they still perform I want to see them when covid ends.

They really rock!!! Awesome!!!
That's pretty cool I enjoyed limp bizkits stuff mainly due to Wes he is an interesting guitar player and his stage persona is always pretty cool
Someone told me they punched Durst back in the day when he tried that. Not a soul touches Wes though.
Se paso de Verga el Wes Borland. Fuck!!!🤘🤘🤘
Wes was the reason why I love limp bizkit! \m/
Sad I/m just now seeing this. One of the coolest things I've ever seen lol couldnt imagine being right there for that
I bet wes was careful but damn that’s the same place where the fan died and they blamed it on randy Blythe from LOG.
Festus oh god
Festus didn't randy push him off stage , wasn't it involuntary manslaughter
metalheadblues the dude was drunk and stagediving. It’s his own fault.
Eek
It was definitely not intentional if that's what happened. That's really sad.

Love Wes. Terribly underrated, but i think he's starting to get some of the respect he deserves.
WES is the only one to do that i guess..
