- Hello and welcome! Welcome to my new subscribers! Today's video will be part 1 where I show you my technique for placing a window on a dollhouse that is already built. I will be back tomorrow with pt 2 and the window cut out.

Good spot for a window
I think it will be fine there. I want it over the sink so, whomever is doing the dishes can look out and see what's going on. Lol!
I'll be adding several windows to my farmhouse, and it does make me nervous. 🫣
I am terrified! I wish I had known I was going to do this before constructing the house but, I didn't. I will wait until morning as I just got off work, I am tired and I had to do a raccoon rescue before I even got out of the town I work in. It has been one of those days, both cars are having issues, so, best not cut the window until I get some rest! I would love to see your house that you are doing.
@@MiniatureMadnessofcherylg2696 My house is the Victoria's Farmhouse by RGT. I'm adding to the porch side so I'll have room to make hallways with the stairs. I'm also going to build a 2 story, free-standing addition on the other side for a backporch and an office/study upstairs. A good rest sounds like a good idea before you tackle cutting out the window. My daughter cut a window hole in the dollhouse I was building for my granddaughter and it was pretty hard to do and it was flat! Be careful and take your time.
@@jonihenry8124 Your house sounds like it is going to be amazing! Didn't you tell me one time that you were also a member of the Victoria's Farmhouse Group on FB? I definitely will be taking my time. Last time, I cut the window out with a coping saw, it was what I had so, it's what I used. The trick is not bending the blade while cutting. Anyway, for better or worse, I am going to cut it.
