@@LOL-dq5iw Wow, you seriously must be a total dumbass to put this. Erm, let's see, the mainstream world? Less Than Jake sadly never reached the heights of Green Day,, blink-182, Sum 41 etc.. Same with bass players. Ask most people who they would call a good bass player they would probably say Paul Mccartney, Flea, Gene Simmons. So it isn't a stupid comment, but a factual one.
A bit late but Roger Lima is one of the reasons I learnt bass. His playing is so funky, he really carried Less than Jake on some songs

One of my favourite basslines. I had never realised the downstrokes on the single string bits. Its amazing to see the artist himself play there are so many nuances that even the best tabs miss

I haven't listened to Anthem in a loooong time. Now that I think of it, I havent listened to LTJ for quite some time. No particular reason I can put my finger on. Started playing bass 4 years ago. I suck, but I have fun learning songs, and trying not to throw the bass across the room when its too hard. Now that I play, I hear everything. The stuff I grew up listening to sounds completely different now that I have a better ear. Dude, if I knew what I was missing back when Anthem came out... Shit, loosing streak... That dude with the dreads from LTJ is a sick bassist! You're the man, Roger. And you're making me want to throw my bass across the room right now. I'll get this one in the bag one of these days. These vids definitely help!

by the way, if you guys think Roger is great, which he is, you should check out Home Grown, their bassist, Adam Lohrbach was absolutely incredible as well. Check out their song "Kids" and "This Way" and you'll hear some freaking amazing bass lines as well. They were an amazing band but sadly enough broke up over a decade ago (geez I'm old)
