@@smoker6683 double sleeving is not bad, just don't use perfect fit sleeves, that's cancer for your cards since when you put the car in or out, the plastic of the sleeve rubs against your card, creating very fine lines or scratches, specially on the foil
I gotta disagree hard on your point about dust inside inner sleeves. The point is to make sure there is as little dust as possible before sleeving, then the double sleeve makes it almost impossible for that dust to get in. Either Way, if you notice dust, you can simply remove the sleeve and clean it off. The risk of liquid damage is way to high not to double sleeve, in my opinion. @TonxCubex this is the first person i've seen advocating against it. if you play commander, imo double sleeve if you're playing other formats where you're constantly swapping cards in and out, his points may be more valid for you to not double sleeve
Yeah no. If you single sleeve your card, you will definitely have dust between the card and the sleeve that will scratch the card over time. Why would you use exactly this argument for double sleeving? Double sleeving solves that exact problem. Of course you have to take care that there is no dust when you sleeve them up initially. After that you're good. If you're re-sleeving you don't have to change the inner sleeve. Also today there is no good reason to use resealable sleeves. If you use the right combination of sleeves (e.g. perfect fits innter + dragon shields outer) re-sleeving is super fast and easy. Re-sleeving a single sleeved card will scratch the card every time. You want as little movement as possible on the surface of a new card. So you want to put it into a inner sleeve after you got it and never remove it from there. Your argument is: I don't like a tall deck. Which I accept. The rest of your arguments are really weak.

When I play. I use the same color sleeves for all my decks. So the cards never leave the perfect fit sleeves. Helps prevent dust into them. Also I double sleeve because sometimes the corners of the sleeves will crimp. The second sleeve provides extra protection when that happens.

You pretty much have to double sleeve your whole deck unless your using a printed paper proxie then it'll be about the same thickness as a double sleeved card.
I like you channel, but I have to dissagrea about this, I have seen so many single sleeved cards, over time wen dust and dirt gets in to the top they will be dameged at the top. Also don't even talk about spilled drinks, and if you resleeve them all the time there is slight mi ro damage every time, if you use good quality inner sleeves there won't be any dirt in them that will hirt the cards, also just dust of the cards before putting them in inner sleeves, and when that is done you can resleeve them in outers thousands of time without any damage on the cards, also that shuffling you do will hurt the cards over the years, i always shuffle gently and pileshuffles half the time. The extra stiffness that the double sleeving gives your cards also protects them, actually there is so many pros to double sleeve your cards. Modern decks these days are most around $1000, so its not worth damage them in my mind.
It's quite dumb to use the excuse of double sleeving a card improperly dirty will damage it, so will just sleeving it dirty ffs. Playing with sleeved card, dirt and dust will always find away in there and gradually through the years and slowly scoff your cards. I know cause I played back in 1999-2006 when there weren't any double sleeves. Also if a drop a water touch the top of your sleeve your card will most always be water damaged for life.

I don't double sleeve because my hands are to small!
I like to double sleeve. Protect those money cards
wont be dust if you sleeve correctly....opening down and top loaded.
I'm talking about long periods of time
@@MTGDeckmasters double sleeves PROTECT THE SURFACE OF YOUR CARDS! You're confused, if you single sleeve the surface of your cards get dirt and grime scratched and ground into them over time from shuffling and they look like shit. My cards always clean like new after years of play.
Why do you bend your cards….
It's too much fun!
@@MTGDeckmasters i get it but don’t you have expensive cards.
I hate the deck became thick, but i couldnt leave it single sleeved, since i play casually , i only double sleeve expensive card and leave common/uncommon/non foil card single sleeved.
Doesn't that mean that you can see wether the next card you will draw is single or double sleeved? What about your opponent seeing it in your hand?
You pretty much have to double sleeve your whole deck unless your using a printed paper proxie then it'll be about the same thickness as a double sleeved card.
RIFLE shuffling *Chambers Magic Deck*
Those are valid points. Technically I should double sleeve my cards but I just don't like the feel...
The dragon shield art sleeves are bad. Especially when double sleeved.
Kinda interesting most of the reason I dislike only single sleeving are the reasons you like it. Overall I’m going to say I still don’t get why you would prefer it. Though I’m the crazy person at their LGS we has a triple sleeved commander deck so I think I’m the outlier here not you.
I agree, single sleeping sucks
@@MTGDeckmasters touché
@@ARK-ep4bb I saw someone use toploaders for his commander decks...that was crazy
changing decks. all my cards stay in the clear sleeves, even my deck now has permanent clear sleeves even when the rest of the deck doesnt. and its not noticeable
Nice troll video
It aint a troll video G
who is taking 30 mins to double sleeve a deck LMAO... smh i get some people dont like double sleeving but i cant play a deck without double sleeving it i like the extra thickness but if its taking 30 mins to double sleeve thats on the person sleeving it lol.
Kesse tu dit lol

yeah lol
😂😂😂 BS
Not to me!! 😂
I’m too broke to not protect my cards properly…
But you spend money on the inner sleeves😂
@@MTGDeckmasters $6.99 is a small price to pay to protect cards that are worth hundreds of dollars
I've never understood the interest of double-sleeving your cards
You've never understood the interest in keeping your cards clean? Lmao
People don’t want their 100 dollar holographic cards to warp. Just look into foil warping and what causes it.
yessss ! finaly someone speaking the truth !
I have never seen a more factually incorrect video full of actual misinformation..about something as trivial as sleeving a MTG deck. Jesus.
People nowadays have issues shuffling a deck...the drama
HOW TF DO PEOPLE GET DUST IN THEIR CARD SLEEVES? YOU PLAYING IN A DUST BOWL INTHE DESERT ? I live in a desert ,and over a decade my cards havent gotten dust in them, including single sleeves . want ot know what gets in the sleeves, peoples dirty fingers when they grab your cards and take it out the sleeve without permission
Those diaper sleeves are pure trash. waste of money and time
