damn kamui really likes to slap the paddles huh
I swear he's done that his whole career. It makes the onboards more entertaining
No lift through Eau Rouge / Radillion.. my man
In these cars that’s very impressive.
I realize this is way out of left field but Kamui Kobayashi is such a cool name. Great onboard footage haha.
Wonderful lap 👏 😎💪🏻
I need to know what is Toyota's incentive to spend more money to create a better car from scratch & then be limited in power increased in weight. Then watch the cheaper Porsche drive to victory.
The rules are so fucked.
exactly, i don't expect the lmh cars to be spending all this money for nothing for so long
I think its just a trick to get a more beneficial bop in Le Mans.
@@barnabaradlai4943 if you are a Toyota fan you're praying that's true. But I also see why they would do that. Last year they lost to Ferrari, who did exactly that so I wouldn't be surprised if Toyota does the same move.
Toyota could go even faster since they mentioned that they tried to imoroved the visuals on the car which cost some laptime.
LMH cars are still much much cheaper than LMP1 that really cost a fricking lot in development. BoP means minimal development costs.
I was there!! But I only later realized after watching this video that there's probably no need to spend crazy money on the F1 ticket just to see F1 cars doing 300+ km/h through Raidillon if Hypercars can also do 280.
What the series did to weigh down and restrict these masterful Toyota machines just to give the competition help is criminal.
Mainly from Porsche Team Penske.
Ferrari were clearly the quickest in race pace and were only 10 kg lighter than Toyota but Toyota had 12 hp more… with the cars weight being 1000+ and the hp being 670 max, they had a better bop then ferrari
Seconded ! Shameful from the ACO
Ferrari got bop much harder and still were faster. Its not like toyota would best everybody without bop.
@@MM-mx8sr toyota out of form this year
Come on! Give this man a f1 seat
i mean he did have one, but that was over 10 years ago
he is also the team principal
Did that, got a podium, then was thrown into awful cars despite his talent... At least he's found a good home here
I Don't even think he wants one
I know he had a seat.. But during that time, even with a car that is not compatible for podiums, he used to get podiums. And even after so many years he is competing at the same level despite his age. For me, he is the next alonso
whats NRG?
Energy
@@WEC-Edits
Actually it's more energy allotment for the stint, a driver isn't supposed to go over there allotment.

See, speed and lap time is not everything (although this is ridiculously fast), fact is I can't describe how I feel more excited with this hypercars comparing to F1. The engine sound, the beauty, the supercar/sportscars feeling these prototypes offers for me it's all that matters WEC > F1
Rip all that straight line speed limited by the weight
Please Isotta onboard lap
So 3 rounds with 3 onboard videos from the Toyota. I love it.
But I think WEC should try something new, like onboard video from the Isotta Fraschini or more LMGT3 onboard videos.
First min 😁
This sudden uncompetitiveness in year 2 of real competition is not a good look for GR Toyota
I mean, it's not sudden. And they are still competitive. They've won Imola. Just don't forget that other are trying hard too.
@@vvevvevvvvTo be fair, it isn't so much that Toyota won that race as much as it is Ferrari to have lost it. Straight up Ferrari had the faster car for most of the Imola race, leading for most of it and then they just.... I don't know what made AF Course mess up so much once the rain started. But they did. And Toyota #7 within the position to capitalize on it, so was the Porsche #6.... That fight only happened because Ferrari literally pulled themselves out of it.
@@DuvJones car is not the only tool to win. You need to have some brains also
Tbf I don't think nobody liked the last years of LMP1
You forget that this is the same guy who fought off Kevin Estre for an hour on used tires while also saving fuel to win Imola
