Such a beautiful video and work! I still have to work with some lopi, I inherited some from amma and have yet to muster up the courage to use it :) Don't store the lopi sweaters on a hanger though! They will drag out of shape, my bf has some amma made, and I will need to mend them and try if blocking them will put them back into shape :3
Lopi is so so lovely. I hope that you will be able to start using it very soon. I keep the unfinished/ yet to be published pieces on hangers, but the finished ones are nicely folded with plenty of moth repellent charms to keep them away

My Mother knitted continental style and I didn't know what my style was until recently, (as you knit, a thrower.) Having made many things over the years and now of a menopausal age, wearing sweaters is almost impossible! :) Never the less, your channel is delightful and inspiring for all.

Yep! I'm a trooper so I knit with my right hand! But when doing colorwork I combine both techniques :)

That’s a very personal thing. The more I work with rustic yarns, the less “prickly” I find them to be 🥰

The sweater you are knitting on is beautiful. I looked you up on Rivelry …WOW! A new subscriber! Looking forward to more sweaters (jumpers).. bonus you knit for little ones too! My grandchildren are 2 and 4. I knit for them as well.
I have just spent the last 5 weeks in north Brittany and never got wet - I think I arrived just as the weather improved and September is nearly always beautiful! I had one very rainy day and three misty mornings that dried up into sunshine later on…. I was able to go on many walks in the woods and along the coastal paths and beaches and got a lot of knitting done sitting outside in the sunshine, too 😊

Haha yes I do! I let the mocha pot on the stove for too long the other day and it melted the ribber seal. I got new ones on amazon (but check out if some local coffee shops have them in stock if you can!)

I can’t wait for these patterns! They are all beautiful! Do you prefer working with nutiden or plotulopi? They look very similar but I’ve never worked with either.
Oh that’s such a difficult question! I love them both equally but they are quite different! Both of them are pencil roving yarns but plötulopi is produced on a large scale and only contains Icelandic wool. Nutiden on the other hand is a family owned business and each yarn blend and colorway is unique.
Plötulopi is more rustic and bulkier than Nutiden 🤍 I hope that helps! 🥰

Странный способ вязания . Это же очень тяжело накидывать нитку не пальцем , а всей рукой ?
I do not buy scratchy rough yarn it irritates my skin and makes me itch. I only buy soft yarns only !!!
