Oh no. Not another sports analogy. I've been there. I was told during the first 20 yrs of playing rugby we were different. A community blah blah blah. The for the next 2 yrs I passed on this rubbish to the kids I coached. When my wife had a stroke I asked the 2 clubs I had started from nothing for help moving house. Maybe 4 kids came out to help. We became homeless because of bills and losing our house and still no one wanted to help. Heck the mens team's president didn't even put out the call for help on the facebook page.
I couldn't listen to much of this banal and trite rubbish. Kindness is a game? Kindness is telling someone they have nice shoes? Thats ordinary living. Thats the absolute minimum we should require to be a member of the human race. 16,000 acts of kindness in 15 days. Ridiculous. You haven't created any long lasting change. You've boiled it down to a game . Altruism, empathy compassion is a learned and observed culture from birth. Sadly USA is not a kind place where there is much of a safety net. How can you possibly truly understand kindness. You go through the motions.
