- In this video we talk about and explain the different wear areas the case tv 450 has developed with normal everyday use. The alternator went out at 250 hours ish, and at about 650 hours the crank shaft sensor went out. The machine is still under warranty but it cost around 600 dollars to replace the censor. The tracks are holding up quite well, window and door seals are doing good, the door seal has a little bit bigger hole in it now due to rubbing on the ram guards, but still keeps the water out.

Big fan of those 450’s super nice!
Yes sir on that
You've kept that machine in very nice condition for 700 hours of use. They say you can't tell if you've got good one until you put at least 350 hours on the meter. Maybe it was just bad luck that the sensor went out on you, but by now you should know what you have in that machine. Keep taking care of it the way you have, and it should be fairly reliable for at least 2500 hours.
That's a Beast of machine you have there, Great review! 👍
I want to trade it in sometime for a monitar skidsteer, it's a bit bigger than this one.
Those added lights are cool! If you were going to buy a different brand to try, what brand would you try?
Ridgid industries is the best lights on the market but there expensive but they are way brighter.
On the tracks rubbing mine did the same they had to put shims in the h link
We just ordered the b series 😜
How did you wire in the lights under the arms?
buy a switch to go into the instrument cluster to turn them on then run a wire from Fuze box to switch to lights, have to drill through the steel small hole to run wire through.
@@SolidworksUnlimited did you use like a fuse tap or is there some auxilary fuses or spares?
the days are not short in the winter they are actually longer.
Go check out the new case B series’s. Everything your/we all have been complaining about they have fixed.
Amazing cab in them now
I ordered one yesterday, I'll be getting it around October ish. 👍
Awesome mate, your gonna be so happy with it. I only got mine a few days ago and it’s game changing. I look forward to your video when you get it
Heck ya glad to hear that, was hoping it would make up the difference, my crew talked me into it, I think I'll be glad I did it.
Wow 700hrs already.... Glad your having fun with it? 🤪🤪🤪🤪
ya we wear stuff out fast
Any tips for back pain?
ya stop drinking carbonated drinks :D
best part of the video crank shaft sensor i wont buy one now thanks
The sensor ended up being a wiring harness issue, the wires started to wear through and touch each other and threw that code, so we replaced wiring harness and it fixed all codes it was throwing, it never was the crank shaft itself, just to verify
You know me, wish I had one. I am finally trying either a mini skid Toro next week or the S70, Bobcat. I think that’s the one. It’s really small. I am renting either one. I think the larger machine
Like I have may be too big for my backyard. My front yard would be perfect. I just don’t want to rent both.
Also, are you going to WOC next week in Las Vegas? If you are, pick me up. I will split gas and pay for food. 😃 💥 ⚒️📐
I'm not going to make it this year, wish I could but have too many jobs sitting in front of me, I thought about entering in the fastest trowel on the block a few years ago, might be too rusty now lol
@@SolidworksUnlimited That would be fun to check out. Have you been before? I have only heard about it but never been. Always wanted to go to those conventions just to see all the cool stuff.
@@SolidworksUnlimited Glad you have some jobs lined up. Question: Can you operate a skid on slope parallel? My side yard slopes like 3ft. Nothing too bad and then it’s the sidewalk.
Skinny skidsteers tip really easy just be careful
@@SolidworksUnlimited I will remember that. Thank you.
