bandit revolver fast RRC jP (high) vs fast RRC jH whiff 2K/2D (low) is one of sols metered 50/50 mixups. other than that you need to play offense with frametraps, stagger pressure, throws, and shimmying/wild throw against people who throw tech. Overhead is riskier and costs meter for less reward than landing a CH/air hit/high RISC hit cS/fS/5H especially when you spend that meter for RC or tyrant rave
I bought ggs on launched and didnt play it til baiken came out (i didnt like how anyone played). That was like a year into the game. Take it from me, you can hop in any game at anytime, you will still find ppl relative to you. Just have fun if u wanna get better (notice how i didnt say git gud bc not everyone wants to be that level) strive has almost every tool u need in training and mission mode to do it. If you like sol then ur in luck bc he is the most explored and documented character. And this channel easily has the best sol guides bc its full of info and cuts the fat. Think of these vids as like notes you would write on your arm to help you study

Dash macro in the left trigger and Roman Cancel in the right one.
@garou_fgc I'm guessing this is on controller? I'm on fight stick and can't think of a button to use for it that'll be comfortable

why even use kara cancel like what situation am i gonna need that in ?
Literally just, in situations where you’re out of range for a clean hit, you kara cancel to get in range for the clean hit (more damage)
