Just as we have Power Evangelism and Power Healing, Eddie taught worship leaders how to do Power Worship. We never called it that back then, but it’s essentially the same, and we used it for the same purpose. Power Worship is very simple and was always very fruitful. Eddie even included 5 Steps that served a similar purpose as the 5 Step Prayer Model. If you want to know how to lead a congregation into the Numinous or manifested presence of God, use the model Eddie taught us. I don’t know what other people called it in the 80’s, but these days, I call it, “Power Worship”.
