    Wonderful work from very skilled young hands.
    Please, please use a push stick and not your hands near the planer and saw blades.
    Your hands and your mind skills are your greatest asset. Don't let simple to do slip damage your future.

      Certainly! I can't trust a wooden structure for a saw! I like the raising/lowering mechanism though.

    Is it stupid if it works? Generally speaking I'd say no but if the lumber and hardware used equals the same price wise as an actual table saw wouldn't you just buy an table saw?

    Typical human reaction time: more than half a second...
    Time it takes an unprotected saw blade to remove fingers: about one thousandth of a second...

    First lesson of tablesaw ‘do not freehand!’ Nice piece of urban engineering though. You must have done a helluvalot measuring and squaring.

    Needs a guard making for it and I am assuming that it is only a 12 volt motor which will struggle to cut through hard wood.
