but the government should have made this information early enough ...we had allredy booked buses .the government and the education sector should style up. the rains have not started today instead of thinking of how you should work with county government to build better drainage system to counterattack the heavy rains .what if the rains continues till 6th of may will the school opening date be postponed again ?
It's not about finding the people, but rather finding the bodies 😪😪😪. What's the use of studying weather and climate if they can't use the info to help the nation 🤔
Gvt should put in place the mitigations to help those affected families its horrific to see such as situation while our peers have stepped forward and made decisive actions on floods.
After a major disaster like this, the government should first clear the roads and major infrastructures so that medical help can reach those who need help. Next, they should work to help resettle those affected in some kind of housing or shelter. Then, they should work to inspect damage building to make sure that they safe to be occupied. There is heavy rain still in the focus, roads are still submerged in water, family displaced with nowhere to go, and building unsafe, and the government is asking kids to report to school. Somebody should be fired for that directive. However, its kenya and life goes no as always.
