    Our economy is being broken deliberately. Our leaders have been making very reckless decisions for a long time, and now we all get to suffer the consequences. Given the pace at which things are spinning out of control, within a few short months we may find ourselves in the middle of a deep recession, a stock market meltdown, and a housing crash that'll be unlike anything we've ever seen. what moves can we make to generate more income because I can’t afford to see my savings of about $320k turn to dust

      At this point, everyone can see that we're officially entering another devastating economic downturn that can erupt a lot sooner than previously expected. Financial and economic losses are rising to the tune of trillions of dollars with each passing month.

      Avoid too-good-to-be-true scam schemes. Seek advice from a fiduciary counselor they provide personalized advice to individuals based on their risk appetite, placing them among the best of the best. There are bad ones, but some with good track records can be very good.

    When I was in high school circa 1990, one of my friends went on a school trip to Poland. They were having a slightly less epic hyperinflation event at the time (they ended up doing a 10,000-to-1 redenomination of the złoty a few years later), and I remember my friend came back with a 1-million-złoty bill. It wasn't _completely_ worthless, but at the exchange rate in effect at the time he was there, it had cost him something like $20, which he figured was worth it to be able to tell people he was a millionaire. :)

    • @alewis514
      @alewis514 Рік тому +3

      i am from Poland and barely remember this period as i was just a few years old. New banknotes started appearing in 1994 but old ones were legal tenders until about 1998 I think (with their 1:10000 conversion ratio). Hyperinflation was stopped in about 1992-3, it remained in double digits until 2000-ish but it was a far cry from 1989-1990 craziness. Even though getting salaries in the millions (a common salary in mid-1990's was about 10 million old PLN or 1000 new PLN) was pretty short-lived people got used to it and liked it. They were often expressing their income / spending in millions well into the 2000's.
      The bad side of high inflation was running out of money before you'll receive your next paycheck. Normally people were used to living on a monthly wage and could plan their spending, but when this inflation came into place this was no longer possible. You realized that it's still 10 days to next paycheck and you ran out of money. You have nothing left, not even for a single pack of cigs or loaf of bread. People started demanding employers to pay them twice a month or even once a week. At least we didn't reached completely uncontrolled inflation levels like Germany in 1923 or Hungary in 1946. In those cases prices were doubling every few hours. Currency was completely useless and people were paid in raw goods instead.

    This is really good!! Specificially the part where you said that hyperinflation specificially happens when the amount of money risings when the number of assets or goods don't. Some economics channels miss that!!
    If you assign the money a task on the board then its value doesn't fall, this when economic stimuluses work, as long as that is in your country and not to pay debts to other countries, and then you end up like the Wemiar Republic.
