Grateful beyond words for my first-ever trip to the legendary Bau Island and the honor of meeting the Vunivalu na Tui Kaba. 🙏🏽 Ever since I was young, I’ve heard stories of this island-stories of our ancestors that are all connected to this sacred place. To finally experience it myself was nothing short of magical.
I was fortunate to get approval to do a live broadcast and capture some footage on Bau, so I'm sharing this drone shot as a little archive of how it looked when I visited. Who knows what the future holds for this historic island, but for now, it’s just as enchanting as the stories I grew up hearing. ✨
