Mark Michael I’m afraid it was a couple of years ago now I suspect. I haven’t seen one there since...I am referring to the blue dialed Sub in steel/yellow gold. Just to be sure, is that the model you’re referring to?
I have both the Steel Submariner and Two Tone Rolesor Submariner in my hand and wrist, I knew immediately I had to go for the more expensive Rolesor, it has a kind of ‘Presence’, it feels more substantial on my wrist, not only for the weight of solid 18K gold on the centrelinks and bezel, Rolesor Submariner oozes luxe and class that are not remarkable on a Steel Submariner. Yet is not flashy or ostentatious. Gold with Black is the best combination, it is easy to pair with any color shirt and can be dressy on a more formal occasion. Luxury car manufacturers such as Rolls Royce, Maybach, Bentley, Bugatti have been dressing their cars with two tone color, more so in their exquisite new models.
I have now a sub date 2020 , having sold my 2019 sub Blusey , i really like the look of both the two tone watches there just a bit to blinggy for me wnen i was out . Great video though thank you .
People can say what they like.. but there are those who have and those who dont... this is the best gents Rolex on the market.. new design is sharp as.. plus Rolex only watch that holds its price or increases in value due to fact rolex can not keep up with the global demand. Beautiful watch. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I bought this one 2 weeks ago, love it so much but boy, I can see what a scratch magnet the polished gold on the clasp is. I once placed it gently ontop of a soft fabric pouch to rest, which material was soft but not as soft as silk or velvet, and I can see a hint of a scratch as a consequence. You can't wear it while typing on a keyboard as it would touch the table/laptop a bit and it would scratch. Basically it'll scratch just looking at it.

So I love Tim’s reviews, but he doesn’t really talk about wearing it in real life situations. Almost all of the discussion is based around the technical aspects of the watches.
I just bought this model what are your thoughts on getting a rubber braclet for it to make it sporty and to keep the original braclet from getting scratched?
My brother has this watch and I was surprised at how sharp it was. I wasn't expecting to like it compared to my steel Sub at all, but I thought it actually looked classy. I would definitely take it over an all gold version, as it has an opulent feel but still feels like it can stand up to some abuse. Not an everyday sport watch though.
Beautiful watch! 👑 Took explorer over this, because allso same beautiful but not so obvious, this one just stands out too much while explorer goes under atention. But steel gold sub is fantastic, as is all steel one, just to much atention.
Tool watch? This whole Rolex concept of ‘tool watch’ is a joke. You don’t need to spend this amount of money if you simply need a tool to tell time under water.
I always find it interesting when I see another person that has jumped on the "rolex is not a toolwatch" bandwagon. First of all, Rolex has a very strong tool watch history. These watches were designed and built for pilots, divers, etc. Secondly, it is a fact that today's professional Rolex is built far better than its predecessor. Therefore, Im not sure how one can argue that a Rolex professional model is no longer a tool watch. Has it risen in price exponentially? Yes, it has. Would you be comfortable wearing a $10,000 watch as a tool? Maybe you wouldn't. Are they still used by pilots and divers? Probably not in many cases. However, this does not change the fact that a Rolex professional model is built to take a beating and still perform. This is not the case with the vast majority of luxury timepieces. The price has nothing to do with this fact. So, while you may enjoy beating the hell out of your $40 gshock, I'll stick with my submariner knowing that my grandson will have it on his wrist one day.
Got this one ☝️ love it to bits and wear it like a beater, even been diving with it.
great review, very detailed but not to extensive!
great review i have this beaty

busted my back in the heat for 5 years -- no clubs no alcohol.. 06/14/23 i finally placed the order for my own $18.3k
Love to hear it man. I’m grinding my ass off now to do the same. Enjoy it !
Proud of you man!
Waited quite some time for this beauty and it finally arrived yesterday. I love the design, weight, and feel of the watch. An absolute solid stunner.
Why are you talking so fast?? On the way to a date? Afraid that she will steal the watch? I can understand her😂
Beautiful, quintessential Rolex ♥
Very nice. Hard to choose between this and the blue dialed/bezel variation.
David Datura blusy is just hype. I'll go with black dial all day.
Alan Gomez I saw a Bluesy in an AD...it looked very good.

@@DavidDatura Yes which AD?
I’ve seen an all gold Bluesy in person as well as this model recently at my local AD. The blue dial is much more eye-catching.

Most beautiful watch all you need is a Sub

Hi, nice video. Does this bracelet with the gold segments stretch more quickly than the full stainless steel bracelet?
Negative
I would love this in steel and rose gold..... yellow gold....meh
Is the submariner’s rotatable bezel unidirectional?
I just bought this model what are your thoughts on getting a rubber braclet for it to make it sporty and to keep the original braclet from getting scratched?
that is a fantastic idea. Did you do it?

What does a watch like go for a 1970’s version with papers and original box?
I believe the two-tone was rolled out in 1984. The steel submariner, 1953
$13,450
John Holland retail? I think Gmt master 2 better

The cyclops makes me want to vomit.
Nice, but nothing beats the LB!
The Emperor naaa blusy is just hype.
Blue sells for a premium for a reason cuz
Looks hideous.
Two Tone.. 🤔🤔🤔
Gold on a tool watch is just stupid.
lol most of the people who buys subs never really dive. Maybe swimming

Just Mel, let me guess. You have a seiko skx and it’s “just as good as a submariner!”
Rolex is not a tool watch, it is one of most quality watches, they are robust but not just tools, g shock is tool watch.
