Because I've seen a few comments comparing this "era" as mcr, the beginning reminds me a lot like Mama. The creepy xylophone bells and eerie female vocals, just had to put that out there. Amazing! Congrats to the fans who have enjoyed this album release!
My Dad’s band was a cover band that got pretty big to where they wrote a couple originals and performed at casinos and high profile venues and had a bit of a following, and merch. They used to do this with songs a lot and it was really cool to see them do and perform (even though most performances I was too young to attend, they disbanded when I was in mid/late night school). He just passed away 4 Days ago from cancer. I plan to honor him and do something special with music like he did.
Well a month or so before the album was released benjamin langford-biss tweeted about it and i didn't save that tweet but it was about what people are trying to categories this album and he said u can call it emo it's not like anything we've done before (I'll try to find that tweet or u can do it yourself)
I'm sorry but it just doesn't cut it for me; I liked them more when they were just a generic pop punk band. They are trying to hard to makes us believe they are an emo band with real emotions and struggles and that come out as fake. "death", "black", "depression" , we all got over it in 2005, the times have changed, but no one told this band. They're not emos, they're just dumb
Phillip McLeod they're not dumb for making music, they can do it; they're dumb cause they don't wanna see that the message they convey is outdated and it's stupid. The world has other bigger problems they can and need to talk about. Instead they're making a big problem such as the depression a superficial thing; they do more harm than good. And emo is the least thing I wanna be
Eh, your opinions - I still love this music and it seems really nice! In the end, you don't really have to complain about what you think they should do to match your preferences or wants for who you want them to be
Motionless Veil Nope, they are a try hard emo band when instead of talking about that in an honest way; they cover themselves in black as they where in a halloween party

This is one of the best tracks they have ever written. I am in love.
When the music just hits that chord in you.
And you lose yourself in it.
Are we gonna ignore the fact that it starts with the ending of the reaper meaning this could be the act 4 we've been looking for this whole time
I just realized that every song title starts with "the"

Dumb for making music and doing what they love? Fuck off you wannabe emo police.
So if a band starts talking about suicide and depression they’re automatically a try hard emo band? Lmao leave.
